Shortly before taking off, another flight attendant came to me, told me they made a mistake, and sent me back to my original economy seat (while I was holding my new business boarding pass that they gave me). When I told them they should remedy somehow their mistake, they said they did not have any other extra seat in business and that there was nothing they could do. They did not apologize. They were quite unprofessional and rude. I fly often and I have never experienced something so unprofessional and rude. Alitalia is far better than Swissair in terms of professionalism and of politeness. I will always discourage anyone from flying Swissair. Worst company ever."

Minus: "Our initial checkin was handled by a trainee in Chicago whom we told specifically that we were going to stay in Istanbul for one night on our way to Barcelona. She assumed that our final destination was Barcelona. But after verifying the tags on our luggage, I immediately told her that no, we were to spend one night in Istanbul as we had a performance (we're both musicians). Needless to say our luggage was not on the belt in Istanbul and after more than one hour we chased it down before it made it on the plane to BCN. Our tuxedos for our performance were in the suitcases and we were late for our performance in Istanbul. I will file a formal complaint with your company and I did save the luggage tags as proof. Unfortunately, this put us in a very stressful position, specifically after we had told your check in agent. The overall service was wonderful, however this check in agent truly needs a little more time and supervision before being allowed to check in passengers independently."

We were in disbelief the moment we boarded and saw the airplane. 10 people across jammed into the row??!! - and on an long international flight?? - are you kidding??!! Further, these were the SMALLEST seats I have EVER been forced to sit in. Neither I, or my friend came close to fitting. We literally had to alternate getting up and standing because we were literally overlapping each other when we sat! (His shoulder and arm were literally on top of me!!). It was so bad that when the stewardess came rolling down the aisle with her cart, I had to be aware and see her in advance so I could literally TURN MY BODY OVER TO THE LEFT HALF ON TOP OF THE PERSON SITTING NEXT TO ME SO SHE WOULDN'T TAKE OFF MY ARM AND SHOULDER. ULTIMATELY, SOMEONE, OR MORE THAN ONE PERSON, IS GOING TO GET SERIOUSLY HURT BY THIS RECKLESS, GREED-DRIVEN DESIGN!! The OVERT GREED by the airline (American) clearly reflected by this in trying to JAM as many human beings into a flight as possible like Sardines is DISGUSTING!!! You simply DO NOT TREAT HUMAN BEINGS THIS WAY!! It is also clear evidence that there needs to be tighter standards, regulations and penalties by the FAA and what is allowed by airlines. AND I AM SENDING A LETTER TO THE FAA!!!"

Plus: "I like the Airbus A330 model's that AA flies from Charlotte on European destinations. They are the former USAir A330's and they are nice both in business and economy. There are no premium economy seats on this version. And Charlotte is an excellent airport to fly from/to."

Minus: "We were unable to find a row of seats to more comfortably facilitate traveling with a baby and a toddler as seats that should have had a cot or extra seating didn't have the cot and were sold out for an additional fee before we had the chance to. Discussing this with the staff at check0in and at the gate, made no difference as they had no knowledge of what was available on that particular flight. Every time I fly with American I'm reminded of why I don't like the airline and I will do my best to avoid them moving forward regardless of competitive ticket pricing."

I then called British airways to do so and after 15 min of the agent trying to get seats, she told me that there was a shutdown and no passengers were able to do so and everyone had to book seats at airport. When I got to Heathrow, the agent told me that was not true and everyone was able to book online.. Misleading!"

I wonder where she got her information because what she shared with me was totally false and I am totally appaled. very old on flight - dress warm!"

It was said that the exchange ticket did not reflect in the system for Jetblue and that I will have to call their call center and figure out the issue. I was lucky that I found a staff from jetblue crew who could figure out the issue and help me out. If it was not for her, I could have faced difficulties."

Business class passengers were not given priority boarding and were forced to stand in long ques in the heat and to be squeezed into a bus with all the others. This happened both in my outbound and return flights. This meant queing in the heat out on the tarmac with the economy passengers."

This was completely frustrating and terrible experience. If only the crew were knowledgeable and friendly. Customer service is really bad."
