Everything about the purchase, check in, boarding, the service, and the food was outstanding. We will absolutely fly Swiss Airlines again. There is one caveat. I kindly request the seat numbered 31K be inspected for its apparent ability to “over-recline” as my husband sat right behind in seat 32K and we quite smashed in. The woman in front of us acknowledged the dramatic lean back and tried to adjust, only to eventually keep sliding back further. Eventually my husband and I switched seats since he is 6’2” tall and I’m only 5’8” tall. We feel strongly the seat 31K needs to be tightened to negate excessive lean back. thank you!

The security and boarding process at the airport was chaotic and took a full 1.5 hrs to get to the gate but the boarding to the plane was fine. Unsure if I was dropped off at the wrong spot, but I had to do security then a huge line for passport control - take train to my gates zone (didn’t know!) - passport control again before being at the gate. The in flight entertainment was limited and could have had more choices Crew was very polite and nice. The food and drinks came at a good schedule.

Thankfully the plane was pulled back up into the air, just before touch down, circled for ten minutes, and retried the landing. This time perfectly smooth and successful."

Att gå ombord var kaos och en del förändringar med att gå ombord. Det som ni har kunnat att göra är att komma ut med tydliga information och tydliga instruktioner till resenärer så att de inte agerar på egna händer tex när de står i kön kunde de som var vid disken att tala om i högtalaren till resenärer att sätta sig ner och ropar endast på dem som har sittplatser längst in i flyget och var noga med att kontrollera sittplatser vid på stigning så att de underlättar senare steget när resenärerna är på flyget. Det finns en del som man kunde ha gjort men jag har tyvärr inte tid att skriva allt här. Lycka till

Ingen mat och TV

No leg space. I am 6ft tall, I am am not super tall. There is zero leg space. Borderline dangerous because with turbulence my knees are forced against the metal on the seat in front of mines. Horrible and painful experience. Not comfortable at all. Just one extra inch of space would be a big difference.

I was charged €60 to check in a bag on this ticket. It was not a cheap ticket! Outrageous!

On time, arrived early, overall very good flight. As usual, seats are too close together to move legs in the center seat during a 7-hour flight, but otherwise, great.

The new Zirrus seats on A350 are comfortable in both sit up and lie down positions. And the one in between. Funny thing, they kinda click back and forth

The plane wasn't maintained as well as it could be. Only one audio channel worked on my entertainment console. I was happy enough that I only heard out of one ear--without any entertainment the flight really would have sucked. One of the bathrooms didn't have running water in the sink. I'm glad the crew left it open so economy class wasn't down a whole bathroom. The flight was full and uncomfortable as it was. But umm, they didn't put hand sanitizer in there. If you're going to leave the bathroom open without a sink, at least put sanitizer in there. These days sanitizer is flows like tap water. Speaking of water, I got dehydrated on this flight and overheard another passenger referring to the same. I had brought some water on a personal bottle on board, but flight attendants refused to fill my personal water bottle; I've never had that happen before. All the attempt to reduce waste and they want to force people into the tiny two-sip plastic cups? There was just not enough water service. And on long hauls, it's nice to have drinks included. The "one drink only and only with meal unless you want to pay" policy just doesn't seem right. I'm the kind of person who won't take my card out for an overpriced beer but if you snuck it into the price of my ticket, I'd look the other way.

Jag upplever att de gånger jag flugit Göteborg-Helsingfors, Helsingfors-Göteborg är det ofta förseningar. Har flugit ca 10 gånger feb-maj

Ända bättring skulle vara att kunna ge rätt gate på bordningen vid byte i Helsingfors ( var fel/ ändrat) både gånger 😉😊 (kanske inget med er att göra…) Annars jätte nöjd med alla fyra flyg med Finnair, trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

En av de bästa långresorna jag gjort fantastisk personal åker oftast 2-3 långresor per år och finnair delar första platsen med Emirates. Bra med slopad starksprit inget stök.

Business class crew was extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast likewise - tasty, healthy and substantial. All in all, the flight itself was great, so kudos to Finnair. What a contrast, then, to the pitiable Terminal 8 at JFK, where it was almost impossible to even find a seat (no exaggeration!) before security.

Plus: "The shorter flight to Zurich was on a smaller plane than the overseas one, but I'm not sure what model. It seemed about average for comfort; overhead bins held my backpack easily, while I find many older planes do not. Coffee or soda was free, everything else was for sale. Attendants on this flight were very busy and very friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. My check-through luggage arrived intact. Overall a good experience on a two-hour journey. Plane arrived about 10 minutes ahead of schedule, which is always a plus."
Minus: "No real issues with this flight. it accomplished my objective - to get to Switzerland intact, with a minimum of fuss."

Plus: "I loved the colors of the flight.light blue and green. Gave a peaceful ambience. The flight attendants were very courteous and smiling. Especially the women flight attendants. The food was excellent. It was interesting that the flight from Helsinki to Chicago served a Indian style dinner comprising of lentils, rice and chickpeas. I liked that too, though I prefer the meditarranean fare. I liked the boarding as they were very strict about families with children and gave them priority before other passengers."
Minus: "I did not find too many indian films which I would have liked, especially in a flight because Indian movies are 3 hours long and help to pass the time quickly :). I would have liked more variety in the Hollywood movies as well. They mostly had much older films and hardly any of the new releases while Emirates flight had lot many more new releases and oscar winning movies. They served the Indian amul cheese which is not worthy of serving on a flight, and they could have served some better cheese."
Minus: "The food was not good although plentiful The seats were not made for a long-haul flight We received no overnight bag (eye masks, ear plugs, toothbrush, etc.)"

Plus: "I flew economy Melbourne > Abu Dhabi and then Abu Dhabi to Melbourne. The first leg of the flight was great, the flight wasn’t full and I had a whole row to myself. The flight attendant even gave me some tips to ensure nobody sat there. This flight was on an A380 so the plane was large and it felt spacious."
Minus: "There are a number of things that Etihad do that just degrade the quality and experience of the flight and I probably wouldn’t fly with them again as a result. I’ve listed these below: 1) Entertainment system is poorly appointed and travel in two seperate months found that little had been refreshed on the in flight programs. 2) The entertainment system is deactivated until the seat belt sign is turned off, and is deactivated again about 30 minutes prior to landing. 3) You practically have to cut off your arm to get some water. I would always bring my own water on the flight, but Australian regulations prevent more than 100mls being carried on flight. 4) The service is inconsistent, some staff are just downright rude and others are incredibly friendly. The time waiting after pressing the call bell is excessive and in one case my drink never arrived. 5) Unlike other airlines, they don’t give you a “menu” to chose from for the inflight meal. Instead they just come around asking “Chicken, Lamb or vegetarian”, and lack any real understanding of what’s actually in the food. 6) When you order a drink, they open the can pour some into a cup but don’t give you the remainder in the can. 7) The inflight wifi is expensive. 19.95 USD for 180mb puts them at one of the most expensive. Overall, I would have expected a bit more from an airline such as Etihad."

Minus: "The plane to bangkok from Abu Dhabiis a bean tin cram as many on as you can . the seat sent my backside to sleep for 3 days and my ankles and legs are badly swollen. disappointed and not looking forward to return flights"
Plus: "Boarding in this time was quick, flight was delayed by almost 45 minutes but pilot made time and we were only 10 to 15 minutes late landing into Singapore. The only redeeming quality was the nice gentleman next to me who was helpful."

We were first to baggage drop at Ahmedabad and believed the staff at the check in counter would assist in getting our seats together as I have been shifted from my checked in seat on a previous flight. However he was unfriendly and unaccomodating which made it a very unpleasant journey."
Plus: "Never flying with Etihad before, but it really impressed me with its roomy aircraft, friendly crew, well-rounded and creative e-entertainment and fine food for its amazingly affordable price. I was somehow selected by the airplane for an upgrade flying to Bangkok which even elevate all of my experiences above. A great layover program definitely recommended!!!"
Minus: "Flight attendants in the economy class could be more attentive and walk around more frequently to check up passengers needs and passing out waters. Need more care to the food sanitation especially open water because I had later diarrhea after drinking it. Could be more organized for lining up different seating zones onto the flight, also seat arrangement is a bit off because bothe times I was asked to switch seats for couples and families w kids."
