Resenärer måste uppfylla kraven för inresevisum för att få besöka Förenade Arabemiraten. Medborgare från Förenade Arabemiraten är undantagna från att göra COVID-19 PCR-testet innan de avgår från ursprungslandet till Dubai. De kommer att testas vid ankomsten till Dubai. Resor till Dubai.Resekrav för Dubai-invånare: Beroende på resenärernas UAE-visum måste de ansöka till antingen GDRFA eller ICA för godkännande att återvända. Resenärer som är innehavare av uppehållstillstånd i Dubai måste ha godkännande från General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA). Resenärer som har visum från alla andra emirat utanför Dubai, måste få inresetillstånd från de federala myndigheterna. Alla resenärer som anländer till Dubai från var som helst, (inklusive GCC-länder) måste ha ett medicinskt intyg med ett negativt COVID-19 PCR-testresultat utfärdat inom 72 timmar före avresa. Negativa COVID-19-certifikat måste skrivas ut på engelska eller arabiska. Inga handskrivna, SMS eller digitala certifikat accepteras. Barn under 12 år och resenärer med svår eller måttlig funktionshinder är undantagna från PCR-testet. Förenade Arabemiratens regering har specificerat utsedda laboratorier . Alla resenärer kan antingen använda de rekommenderade laboratorierna i listan eller pålitliga och certifierade laboratorier i hemlandet för att erhålla ett COVID-19 PCR-test. Resenärer som flyger från Indien, Pakistan eller Bangladesh måste dock få sitt certifikat från ett av de laboratorier som anges i det utsedda laboratoriedokumentet för att accepteras på flygningen. Vid ankomst måste alla resenärer ladda ner och registrera sina uppgifter i Covid-19 appen COVID-19 DXB (iOS) - (Android). Resenärer måste ha en medicinsk reseförsäkring med internationell täckning som täcker COVID-19 innan de reser. Resenärer måste underteckna en deklaration för att bära alla kostnader för karantän och behandling och fylla i ett hälsodeklarationsformulär innan avresa som bekräftar att de inte visar COVID-19-symtom. Innan besökarna flyger till Dubai måste de också fylla i ett hälsointygsdeklarationsformulär och ett karantänsformulär. Båda blanketterna måste skrivas ut, fyllas i och överlämnas till personal vid Dubai Health Authority vid ankomsten. Besökare och turister måste ha en internationell sjukförsäkring och ett lokalt mobilnummer för Förenade Arabemiraten som börjar med 050, 056, 057 eller 058 för PCR-spårningsändamål. Utan ett mobilnummer för Förenade Arabemiraten kommer passagerare inte att komma in i Förenade Arabemiraten. Telekomleverantörer har olika luckor i ankomst-PCR-testzonerna, så att ett SIM-kort för Förenade Arabemiraten kan köpas, om det behövs. Resenärer måste ladda ner appen ALHOSN.
Vid ankomsten till alla flygplatser i Förenade Arabemiraten gäller stränga restriktioner för inresa, vilka kan omfatta, men inte begränsas till, ett hälsovårdsmyndighetsgodkänt COVID-19 PCR-test vid ankomsten, obligatorisk karantänperiod, vanligtvis genom självisolering på en privat adress om lämpligt, eller ett hotell eller en statlig anläggning, i minst 14 dagar, och uppföljning av tester innan du kan slutföra karantänen. När karantänperioden är avslutad måste du fortsätta att följa alla åtgärder som Förenade Arabemiraten vidtagit för att förhindra spridning av COVID-19. Krav på karantän i Abu Dhabi: Resenärer från ett av de "gröna" länderna, regionerna och territorierna kommer att undantas från karantänperioden. One of my worst experiences and rest assured if I’m given a chance I will never choose Lufthansa again."

The bathrooms were more cramped and fewer in number for an overbooked flight, boarding was disorganized and delayed, the passengers in front of me put their seats all the way back for most of the flight, and seriously, just a few more inches of space would make these long flights 104% better. I think everyone would be happier to fly on less awful planes, including the poor crew who has to deal with miserable passengers."

I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

This took about two hours plus an additional hour back at the hotel to cancel our reservations in London and figure out how we were going to get reimbursed for the extra night at the hotel and additional costs. It would've been nice to get all of this information in an email, with the new ticket and instructions on how to claim the extra costs instead of us running around and taking time out of our vacation."

Minus: "flight delayed over 1.25 hours because we missed our runway time due to being "unable to get a head count" of the people that are on board. This should be embarrassing for BA. And i don't understand how after all the security, boarding pass and passport checks that you do not have an accurate head count of your passangers. Thus I missed my connecting flight and had to wait over 4 hours for another and got a measly 10 Euros as compensation. Also, they don't even give water for free, and a 200ml juice costs 1.5 Euros which a) its bad juice and b) overpriced. All food you now pay extra for, and they didnt even make it in time to the last few rows so even if Id want to purchase something, I couldn't."

Minus: "4 across seating is criminal."
Plus: "Crew on BA0229 was terrific and attentive the entire flight."
Plus: "Maybe to other people the service was regular - but this was the fanciest flight I'd ever been on. The crew was great - never actually knew that much technology was available on the plane. I'm not a very fancy person and this was a really fun way to fly."

Minus: "I was only allowed ONE free bag for an international flight??? Totally unheard of. This was my first time flying BA and it will certainly be my last. For a 12hr flight, we were only fed ONCE! And only had very old movies to watch"
Minus: "We reserved for passenger in Business class From Dubai to London to Dubai . But From London to Dubai BA offered passenger Economy class the passenger reserved business class but they put him in Economy and the reason they said the flight is over booked. The passenger has heart problem and knee problem we reserved for him in business class to assure he will get the maximum care but in despite of his health conditions and in despite that he reserved in business class they put him in economy class"
Plus: "BA in economy (at least on 1-2 hours duration flights) feels like many other airlines in business class."
Minus: "Cramped seating."
