Since I had a separate flight with Eurowings that sent me from Munich to Paris, which was not connected with this flight, I came in directly into the airport and no where near a Kiosk to check in or print out my ticket/boarding pass. I explained to numerous employees my situation and they casually exclaimed I should be able to make it in. Once I got into the airport I could barely get through security since I did not have my boarding pass. I kept explaining I don't have a boarding pass because I could not check into my flight to obtain it. Then when they finally let me through with only 10 minutes to spare before my flight's gate would close, I finally reached the boarding desk only to be told I had to wait because out of the two men who were scanning boarding passes, they were too busy to help me. I then had to explain three times that I had already paid for and booked my flight, however, I could not check in online and was having an issue with an error that stated I was missing information, even though there was nothing marked in red or anything marked to edit, so each time I tried it denied me. I also tried calling for customer support and did not get a hold of anyone because the lines were too busy. After explaining all of this to the man at boarding, he made me wait an additional 5 minutes before helping me check into the flight and print out my boarding pass. I was treated like a stand-by customer and I did not appreciate it since I paid for this flight and tried to check in 24 hours prior. I was expecting much more from Lufthansa, as my boyfriend recommended this flight company to me, but I was extremely disappointed in so many ways it makes me question whether I want to fly this airline again for future trips abroad."

Minus: "We were unable to sleep at all during our overnight flight and landed pretty exhausted. Our seats were comfortable (complete with a moldable headrest to keep your head from bobbing around) but we felt too upright to fall asleep. The passenger in front of us reclined, but we were concerned about reclining into the already tight space of the passenger behind us. So we weren’t able to sleep, despite trying to get comfortable/somewhat horizontal. It seemed to be a mixed bag of asleep and awake passengers on the flight, so some people were unaffected by this issue."

If SAS was running so many international flights, they should have shifted the layer over, since many people were taking connecting flights for Oslo to Manchester. No food, there should have at least been a snack or at a minimum offered water."

Plus: "I LOVED my stewardist. This man was so incredibly kind to me and the service he gave me had me questioning if it's usually appropriate to tip them. I wish I knew this mans name so I could rave about him but I unfortunately didn't catch it."
Minus: "Let me start out by saying this was my first transcontinental, longer than 2hour flight...I am extremely upset that I paid the extra money to choose my seat and when booking I chose that I wanted a window seat, well I ended up smack in the middle of the plane with a person on each side of me so I wasn't even able to sleep the entire 7 hour 9p-9am flight. Also when I attempted to check in 24hours prior in order to make sure I got a seat id be happy with it said that it wasn't available for my flight so I couldn't check in and I couldn't chose a seat but regardless I still should've gotten the seat I wanted bc of my preferences at booking. Don't pay the extra to ensure your seat it's a total rip off"
Plus: "There was a flight attendant who was perfect for his career-absolutely the best ever on the Rome to Philadelphia flight-a tall, African American gentleman. So accommodating and friendly!"
Plus: "The crew was attentive, the plane left on time, we arrived very early at our destination."
Minus: "The people working at the American Airline counters at the Philly International Airport are very unhelpful and rude. When the check-in kiosk said to get assistance from a rep, the reps told me they could not move from behind their counters. The TSA people people were worse. They treat passengers as if they are dogs, never saying please or thank you, but giving commands in condescending tones to people."
Plus: "I did get to move away from complaining passengers but "lost my coat" in the process. People are awful and obnoxious"
Minus: "Who doesn't turn off the plane lights at night inside the cabin? Especially when you're feeling late at night? Didn't post gate until very last minute…LHR..Then it said boarding immediately. Nowhere to get water. Hurriedly Boarded plane to find out we have the sit there an hour. Girl next to me was so childish Loud mouth complaining because she couldn't sit next to her bf."
Plus: "Loved the flight attendance!! They were friendly, witty and flexible."
Minus: "Even though we had booked this flight in September we were never able to choose a seat for this flight. We kept trying and the only way we could pick a seat months and weeks ahead was if we bought an upgrade. We had already spent over $1000 to fly to Paris each and did not want to buy an upgrade. We just wanted the assignment of a seat. When we got closer to the date we were told that we would get a seat assignment at check in. At check in we were told we would get a seat assignment at the airport. At the airport we were told we would get a seat assignment at the GATE! At the GATE the attendant had difficulty finding our seats and finally found them with the help of another attendant. This adding extreme stress to a trip that was planned in September and should have been a pleasureable experience. Our seats were not together and we then had to go on the plane and ask other travelers to change their seats in order to be near each other. This was not our job! We ended up near each other but not together. Then when we arrived in Paris we noticed that our suitcases had been tagged STAND BY!!!!!! We were glad that we did not see that at the Philadelphia airport because it would have added even more stress to a long anticipated pleasure trip to Paris. Next time we will make sure that the tickets we are purchasing (FINNAIR) have nothing to do with American Airlines."

Minus: "When I arrived to board my flight I was highly unsatisfied with the excessive charges I received for my luggage that was overweight (only by 7 pounds). I was not only charged an additional $100 for my second checked bag, but I was also charged $200 for the extra weight. As a college student traveling abroad for 6 months, I did not expect to be bombarded with these fees at the beginning of my journey. Due to this experience, I would like to have been notified ahead of time of the expected charges as it made me uneasy before a long flight."
Plus: "I thought the cabin crew were very helpful and friendly and professional."
Minus: "The seeds were too close together N20. You almost couldn't eat your food or all the laptop because you're so crowded."
Plus: "It's a direct flight, it runs on time, the staff on the ground and on the flight are professional, courteous, and helpful. If you are lucky enough to have an empty seat next to you, the seating is quite comfortable, with adequate foot and stretching room."
Minus: "For in-flight entertainment, the ceiling-mounted screens along the aisle are hard to see and offer no choices for viewing. The food, as usual, was poor. I ordered vegetarian meals, and on the return trip for both meals was given the same soggy pasta with tomato sauce--no protein (why not add a few chickpeas or white beans?)."
Plus: "I last traveled on British Airways in May of last year (2015) and the food was beyond dreadful. Therefore I was very pleasantly surprised that there has been a huge improvement. They were very generous with the drinks and the food was plentiful and quite a reasonable standard for airline food (they gave two full meals from San Francisco to London, whereas most airlines give one meal and one snack on that route). They actually checked us in on the earlier side, we took off very promptly and got to London early. It was nice to be on time for a change - so often I find airlines run a bit late. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Pilot's messages were pleasant, friendly and even a bit informative."
Minus: "Web check-in ahead of time was a total disaster. I got an email telling me I could check in 36 hours early and "secure a good seat" but neither of the 2 sets of codes they provided in the email would work because it was all about Finnair but actually the flight was being run by British Airways. I spent about 30 minutes on the 'phone trying to get the appropriate sequence of numbers and letters to enter so as to check in and get a good seat - still nothing worked. This was at 5:45am - I regretted the time spent when I could have gone back to sleep. My daughter later spent a further 90 minutes trying to figure it out, only to be told finally that our only option was to get to the airport early and check n there which was what we did. It was beyond irksome. Please note, if the airline actually flying is different fro the booking airline, the locator number for check n will be DIFFERENT and needs to be provided to the customer to avoid a great deal of hassle and confusion. We gt particularly unlucky because BA computers had a glitch that day but the general point still stands."
Plus: "For once the seats have enough space. Airlines think we are cattle and that they can pack as much as possible every airplane. For once I was glad to have a confortable experience."
Plus: "Entertainment choices were good."
Minus: "The flight attendants were noisy, walking back and forth, so it was hard to rest, more like stomping. Was not pleased with flight attendant who served me, was kinda cocky and not friendly, which spoiled the customer service experience. Not enough leg room, cramped. Wish they had decaf tea. Other than that we arrived safely, so I'm very appreciative."

Minus: "Operated by American Airlines. This was a different filght than was in our tickets because we were late for our connection flight. There were no help from Finnair to find a "replacement" flight."
Minus: "This is 2016 and to have planes that don't have in seat screens for entertainment is ridiculous. This was over a 9 hour flight. Won't choose your airline again because of this."
