I'm sure the Lufthansa Customer Service Dept. has and is considering other alternatives, I'm just reiterating the obvious."

The plane did not leave for another our and instead of arguing with the costumers they could have just helped us get on the plane. It was unfair of them to close the check in desks early and on top of that to catch a plane the next day they wanted to charge and exorbitant fee. I Wii never fly SAS again."

Minus: "At self check-in, we received a message that we had been placed on standby and that our seats were no longer guaranteed (for the SECOND time this trip with no explanation despite our having purchased our tickets quite some time ago). We were directed to the gate for questions. No one manned the gate until right before boarding. We spent the entire time in a panic trying to figure out how else we could get to our destination in time for a wedding. When we finally talked to someone at the counter, he said this was just normal procedure to be able to shuffle seats. This is not normal. I have flown with many airlines, and I cannot imagine it is ever "normal" policy to tell people they have been downgraded to standby until just before the flight. So much anxiety. Also, the flight was delayed, and the crew had no communication about gates or any other information (within their OWN AIRLINE) for those with connecting flights."

Minus: "We couldn't check in online because we had an infant in arms. So we tried to check in there. There were 3 different terrible queues. One to use the machines, one to check bags and another for special situations. We tried the machines, didn't work. A rep told us to go to the special situations line. There was a rep there that was trying to prevent people to getting into the line because it was sooo long (1+ hr). So we tied the machines again. Didn't work. So we convinced the guy to let us in the special line. It was nuts. We waited as our flight got closer and closer. Right when it looked like we might make the flight, one of the TWO reps left. When we finally made it, they said we wouldn't make the flight. We rebooked and had to pay extra. WORST travel experience ever."

Minus: "Got delayed 13-hours in an airport with no SAS staff present to communicate anything to all of the passengers. We were not accommodated with hotel vouchers or provided with alternative travel options to our final destinations and missed flights. SAS did not cancel the flight after the first 4-hours of delay which is illegal by EU Standards. None of us were able to leave the airport as we were not told any information about potential flight departure times and it would have been $2000 to re-book with a different airline. No answers were given by SAS over the phone and their staff seemed unaware of any problems."

Minus: "This is my first international flight that didn't include complimentary beverages. No free wine or alcohol, and only ONE complimentary beverage on the entire 9 hour flight! They only came around ONCE with the beverage cart! (and this was like an hour and a half before they served dinner, which didn't include a drink). They also only came around and offered water ONCE on the flight. Normally this would be every 1-2 hours. Also, the flight was delayed by about 2 hours, and they didn't make an announcement until we were about an hour late. Thankfully, I was getting updates from Kayak, or else I wouldn't have even known we were delayed."

I placed an order for a beverage, a pack of crisps and a set of headphones at the beginning of the flight. I didn’t receive them until almost 3 hours into the flight. I figured they were busy with meal service and what not in the beginning of the flight so I was patient, and I saw some people receiving their orders kinda late as well. After the 2nd hour, I started clicking the call attendant button. The female flight attendants walked by multiple times and ignored my attempts to flag them down. Finally, the male attendant came over and resolved the situation, but by then we had been in the air for 3 hours. Worst service I’ve experienced on any airline. Also, for a plane called a Dreamliner, those seating arrangements are a nightmare for anyone over 5’8”; I was uncomfortable the entire flight. It’s a plane, not a bus in a third world country; it’s shouldnt be that damned cramped and crowded."

Minus: "Loved the idea that I could select a hot snack. The photo showed a delicious looking piece of pizza and when I asked to confirm whether it was indeed pizza, I was told yes. Instead I got a large hot pocket with questionable cheese. It was pretty unappetizing seeing that it was heated in a plastic wrap. I really did not want to eat it but was famished. I did not get what was sold to me."

Catered primarily to customers ordering and paying on the plane...including cooked meals....customers with preordered meals got everything last...we end up having no choice of meal (chicken only) while people seated next to us got their NOT preordered beef dinner promptly, 10 minutes before us...and people seated behind us got no prepaid meals because they run out of food...???..."

Minus: "My biggest concern was the service onboard. We experienced a flight with the systems for orders for snacks and drinks etc. down. We waited almost 2 hours to receive a bottle of water and headphones, as the system made it look like the items were delivered when they were not. The staff was clearly confused and stressed, and we had to call for attention 2 times to talk to someone who looked at our order and told us the system wasn't working. Two hours after the order we got our merchandise, still charged at full price."

Plus: "Crew were very friendly and the plane was clean and modern"
Minus: "Boarding process was a little convoluted and we were delayed by an hour"

Plus: "plane was nice, crew was only ok. but the baggage thing is totally unacceptable!"
Minus: "We booked a trip from Stockholm to NY. Got to the airport and the baggage fee was quite high, but i was ok paying it since i didn't prepay online- my mistake. BUT then i was told since the plane was stopping at Oslo we had to pay ANOTHER SET OF LUGGAGE FEES !!!! I said, no you must be mistaken, there is no way you can charge me for two trips just because your plane is making a stop! They insisted and rather than fight and get thrown out of the airport i am disputing with my credit card company, but it can't possibly be legal. $690.00 fees !"

Plus: "Modernt flygplan och WiFi på planet. Snabbt ombordstigning."
Minus: "Sätet var inte bekvämt alls. Flygplanet var smutsigt."

Plus: "Clean and newer plane. Liked darkening shade and entertainment."
Minus: "We couldn’t get to bathrooms after going through passport area and on to gate. Then we had to wait a long time before flight took off. There was a technical delay, mid takeoff. My first flight with them. Next time I’ll order a meal. Nothing given free like water or pretzels Crew ok, but not great."

Plus: "Board crew were pleasent and helpful."
Minus: "Plane was dirty."

Plus: "On time and very comfortable"

Minus: "The reason I gave a two for overall experience was that we were more than one hour late and I missed my connection flight from Los Angeles and for this reason I had to spend the entire night in LA.I even bought a travel insurance and when I went back to Norwegian airline to tell them I was late for my connection flight which was two and a half hour later than our landing,they told me there was nothing they could do about it. There are a lot of people who have connection flight and it's hard to rebook especially at night.Punctuality should be the most important over everything else. Ildiko Balog"

Plus: "Love the planes (boeing 787)."
Minus: "A few of the crew members (one woman in particular) were very rude to people that were just asking about immigration forms etc. Her attitude sucked. The announcement volume was low as well so the crew could've been a bit nicer about the questions. Not thrilled with not even being offered water once during an 8 hour flight. I've been flying first, business and economy plus on American alot for the past few years and was u aware that this was a discount airline when I booked. Like I said, I love the new planes but I'm going to spend the money and have a nicer crew with water and a meal for international flights (I flew Stockholm to NYC)."

Plus: "Able to sleep most of the way"
Minus: "Delayed leaving. Delayed in the air. I missed my connection."

Plus: "It was not full...which made extra room for us."

Plus: "Crew was friendly"
Minus: "Flight left late, uncomfortable seats, No water provided."

Plus: "Hassle free. Didn't make use of all facilities. Good value for money."
Minus: "Nothing."

Plus: "Service was fine, but really wish that at a minimum water would be offered at regular intervals (at least every 3 hours) on long haul flights. Attendants do seem a little pissy if you ask otherwise you have to buy the $3 bottle from the snack bar. I know its not premium but 12 hours is a long time to only be offered two small cups of water. The passenger behind me was difficult the entire flight and kept hoisting himself up using my seat so it was hard to sleep the entire flight. The crew seemed to put up with him very well so I give them props for that."

Minus: "The purser (Vinnie, who had been serving up doubles and high fives) arrived and told me that it was unlimited drinks in the premium cabin and there was nothing that he could do about that, and that they had cut him off after he started antagonizing me. I asked why it was that he would knowingly supply a passenger with over ten drinks, jeopardizing the wellbeing of other passengers, and he again responded that it was unlimited drinks in the premium cabin. The younger female flight attendant then told me that the cops would be waiting for the passenger on arrival - when in fact, the port police department was never notified, nor was the Norwegian station manager at JFK. I then spoke with a great guy by the name of David and asked him to take me to the back of the plane. The only seat available was the middle seat in row 28, so i spent the last hour and a half in the back of the coach cabin. About 30 minutes before arrival, Vinnie came to me and asked "so what exactly happened?" claiming that he would have to submit a report. I had already explained to him and several other flight attendants what had happened and they had seen and heard for themselves. Again, I was told that Vinnie never mentioned any of this to the JFK station. On arrival, I waited patiently with all the other passengers, collected my carryon from David and exited the plane - there was no one from Norwegian ground staff or from the port police department. The assailants name is Jaramye Daniels. I am concerned about your in flight staff's lack of response regarding this encounter, especially given the fact that it occurred on the anniversary of 9/11. Public intoxication and assault are criminal acts and should be dealt with accordingly."

Plus: "Staff were very helpful and thoughtful during the flight."
Minus: "Boarding handled poorly, stuff in standing-room-only and they boarded privileged members and families before disabled people, causing those of us who can't stand long to... stand a long time in line."

Plus: "Dreamliner is great, no turbulence, fast and comfortable Movie selection is good Service was good"
Minus: "I noticed that the temperature on Norwegian is kept a bit low comparatively to other Dreamliner carrier I have flown with; I hope this is not to sell off more blankets; which are not free..."

Plus: "The crew was lovely and charming and attentive. The movie selection was great and well appreciated on the long flight back to the US"

Plus: "Trevlig personal"
Minus: "Vi köpte economy plus för att få mat, bagage och att bestämma plats. Vi fick ingen mat (förstår nu att man inte får det på kortresor, men det framgick inte alls under bokningen). Vi fick heller inte de platser vi bokade. Istället fick vi på både hem och ditvägen sitta längst bak vid toaletter som dessutom luktade urin till en grad jag inte varit med om på några andra flighter."

Plus: "The entertainment system is great!"
Minus: "The boarding process was really bad."

Plus: "They had new movies (I watched La La Land a few others). Their entertainment options are good and the in-cabin electronics work well enough."
Minus: "We have taken 6 trans-atlantic flights with Norwegian, and *all* of them have been delayed by multiple hours. They clearly do not have the operational capabilities to run these long-haul flights. Our most recent flight, for which I am writing this review, was delayed by 5 hours, and on top of that, we had to wait to de-plane for 40 minutes since the small destination airport (OAK) could not handle our arrival simultaneously to another Norwegian flight; they coincided because of our astounding delay. There was no legitimate reason for the 4h45min departure delay--no mechanical issues, no weather problems, no airport issues; it was purely Norwegian failing to have their staff available, or them waiting for other delayed flights to arrive to allow those passengers to transfer. We heard absolutely zero explanation except from the pilot who said was due to Norwegian's "own operating issues". There was no staff at the boarding desk, and after the 5 hour delay, some non-Norwegian-affiliated airport employee just said "ok everyone board", because clearly they needed the gate and the Norwegian staff was dragging their feet. I have never seen anything like it: a whole crowd of disgruntled people heading to the podium with no organization. Fortunately, we were flying from Stockholm and the Swedes were all very reserved about the horrible service. In the cabin, it is no-frills as you would expect, but I continue to be disappointed by a lack of water! I can afford to order bottled water from the snack bar, and we did that, but really water should be delivered to all passengers spending 11 hours on an aircraft. The pre-ordered food was pretty bad and definitely not worth the money that they charge for it. If you compare this to a "real" airline's trans-atlantic flights, there is no comparison: Norwegian's cabin crew is a bunch of amateurs from third world countries; a major airline like Lufthansa actually cares about passenger comfort and makes 2-3 times as many rounds through the cabin to deliver things like water, food, wine, hot towels, etc. I think this will be our sixth and final Norwegian trans-atlantic flight. Within Europe, we have had much better experiences with Norwegian."

Plus: "The Dreamliner is excellent. Everything is new. I surprisingly enjoyed the games available in the personal entertainment screen."
Minus: "For an 11-hour flight, I was surprised that pillows and blankets were not offered--especially since the AC was blasting out cold air. I was freezing throughout the entire flight and ended up getting a cold that I'm still recovering from. The only other issue I had was the lack of variety in movies and tv shows. Most were obscure movies and shows that I had never heard of. More recent/relevant options would be appreciated."

Plus: "I thought the food was good and the staff was nice"
Minus: "We boarded late, took off late then had to wait at JFK for almost an hour to get off the plane. Entertainment choices were not many and not much leg room"

Minus: "It would be good to know in advance that even for long international flights you're going to have no pillow, no blanket, no drinks and no food!!!!!!! Or pay a lot for it. This is hard for à long ( still expensive) flight. This is the first time I have this experience. It's very dissapointing."

Plus: "Clean, efficient, great entertainment options, friendly flight attendants, practical luggage checking or carry-on options"

Plus: "plane seemed rather new."
Minus: "I couldn't check in online, there was some error. so I couldn't order a vegetarian / kosher meal. The sound in the entertainment system in the second plane was terrible, I couldn't understand anything."

Minus: "My young daughter was denied a ticketed seat on an 11:30 Norwegian air flight to Oslo, being told that her 10:33 arrival at the gate -- due to multiple protracted delays on earlier connecting flights to get her to the gate -- made her "too late" and the computers would not permit the gate agent to get her on board no matter how much extra she was willing to pay. She was simply told to get the next flight 24 hours later, killing 15% of her vacation. The gate agent said to my hysterical child that she was so sorry for the hours lost in prior connecting flight delays and recognized the plane my daughter was to be on was still one hour from pushback from the gate, but she couldn't overcome the computers having closed out the flight at precisely 60 minutes before scheduled departure so there was nothing a human could do. This is the epitome of machines gone crazy!!"

Plus: "The guy at the check in counter was very friendly and helpful"
Minus: "The crew on the airline talked most of the short flight, and I could hear their personal conversation. Not very professional. Not a glass of water was served. Only food for pay."
