Everyone around us realized this and tried to help as we asked the flight attendant to help us and she said that I should ask other people to move around not her. We had to go around the plane begging people who were sitting with a bassinet and no baby to trade seats with us. It was an absolutely horrible experience. It was the airline's mistake, and we were the ones forced to try to fix it. Yes, we got a bassinet eventually, but not before we saw how mean and selfish other passengers could be pretending not to hear us and ignoring us. And no help from the crew."

DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

Minus: "American airlines oversold and that caused us to start late. The seats are too small for 2 adults to sit next to each other. 1/2 the people wore masks. when we arrived we sat on the taxiway for an hour"

Minus: "6 hour delay due to part that St. Louis sent for - twice. Will never fly through ST Louis again on AA. Terrible Domino's pizza and water were complimentary after 4 hours delay. Returned to gate twice. 11 a.m. flight arrived at 9:30 PM ( 3 hr flight). Poor gate attendant was left to fend for herself as she was fed false and contradictory information."
Minus: "On time departure would have been nice. Delayed about an hour."

Minus: "More options when flights are delayed. I understand that some things can’t be controlled but 3hrs with limited to no options is unacceptable. And boarding the flight, it’s always unorganized. A more organized line should be formed. When the groups are called to board the plane."

Minus: "They seem to have a lot of technical issues. The flight to my destination was cancelled about 8 hours prior to the flight due to maintenance issues with the plane. The computer system at the airport crashed on the return flight and caused a long delay. I won’t fly AA again."
Minus: "Everything was fine, crew was great, but the wifi entertainment system is a joke. Its nice to allow passengers to connect and watch movies or shows, however, when trying to watch a movie it constantly buffers. More buffering then watching, to the point of just stopping and skipping it all together."

Minus: "Boarding the way there, they did not honor my AA Advantage card to board earlier because my boarding pass did not say so. Even after seeing it said so in the computer system, they refused to honor it. So this time, I gave up and boarded with the last group. No prior warning was given that this plane would not allow for carry on luggage in overhead bins. Further were no charging ports on board, no free WiFi, no adjustable headrests, and the seats did not recline. There were no kosher cookies."

Minus: "Mixed feelings about the entertainment app, I was pleased that something was available at all, however had the person sitting next to me not mentioned I needed an app to watch the in flight entertainment moments before it would have been too late to use the internet to download it, I would not have been able to use it, unless paying for a limited time package from AA to use the internet to download the app. A better job of advertising of the gogo app is needed more than the booklet in the seat pocket. Also I was only able to watch one movie, after that the system kicked me out saying high usage was making it not work for me. The gate changed a couple of times which had me trawling up and down the H and K concourses, could have done without that after the 9 hour journey I had already taken."

Minus: "there was no entertainment for a very long flight. also, it was night time, and the fasten seatbelt signs are so big and bright that it is impossible to go to sleep! Our plan was delayed for 2 hours, meaning we did not get in until 230am. it was exhausting!"
Minus: "I bought tickets for JAL Japan Airlines but it was American Airlines !! If I know that when I buy tickets I don't buy it !! I will not buy tickets at KYAK anymore."
