Minus: "I got up to use the bathroom and I was seated in the 10th row. When I was trying to make my way back to my seat, the beverage service had started. They were at the 12th row and after bumping into me, the flight attendant asked me to back up and wait until the beverage service was over to go back to my seat. This was a flight from Frankfurt to Zurich, only about an hour long, and I would have easily spent half of it standing up had I complied with their request. I had to be pushy and ask them to just back up the cart 2 feet so I could get to my seat, which only took them 5 seconds. This was a very rude, illogical, and unreasonable request from the Swiss Air crew."

You’d pick a movie and it wouldn’t play. The games, camera and flight status animation all worked but not the movies. Air hostess tried resetting , still nothing. But it was a great opportunity to have a lovely conversation with my new German Friend Barbara and read my book! At least in there I could actually breathe (the ventilation system is totally inadequate for anyone sitting near the windows and results in horribly stuffy and uncomfortable air.)"

Also, the screen was terrible quality and I could not see no matter how I adjust the screen angle or the light."

Eventually I sat down on the edge of a place and a stewardess snapped at me. I've had back surgery recently, so all of this was very difficult. Finally given a seat. No internet--big drawback on overseas flights. On our trip there, one bathroom was a mess, plus out of toilet paper. Told the stewardess, and they closed it for a while--took some time for it to be attended to. The entertainment choices are VERY slim--don't know why a more extensive list of choices could not be made available."

Det enda som var ok var att de svarade snabbt på telefon följande morgon - men meddelade inte som man sagt den nya bokningen via sms eller mail!"

When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."

The food on the plane had spoiled so we were all starving on the flight, and we all missed our connections. Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."

Minus: "Seats were atrociously uncomfortable for a 6'1" man. Less than zero leg room due to ridiculously tight row spacing and non-reclining seatbacks. Had to attempt to cram in sideways - resulting in serious pain by the time the flight finally landed. Intercom system, especially from the captain, was painfully grating and loud. Boarding was extremely slow, in part because gate personnel made no effort whatsoever to police and enforce the four-group boarding process (premium - no carry-on - group A - group B). People boarded whenever they felt like it, many carrying on huge backpacks and multiple other pieces. Will definitely avoid TAP in future."

Minus: "Let me cancel the flight for a percentage back so I didn’t have to waste the entire price of the flight for a ticket I couldn’t use."
Plus: "The crew on the plane was very professional and helpful, even with other passengers that weren’t very courteous."
Minus: "There was only one person checking people in, which was not enough to move things along. There was also confusion over whether bags had to be checked or not, with one person giving us tags but then no one looking at the tags prior to boarding. The whole check in process seemed poorly organized."
Plus: "The in flight snack was surprisingly diverse and tasty."
Minus: "We had to take a bus from the gate to the plane, which is fine. But we stood on the bus at the gate for 10 minutes after it was completely full before it finally drove to the plane. Then when we were just outside the plane we had to wait again for several minutes before they would let us off."
Plus: "Flight was on time, crew friendly on airport and flight. Plane was clean and sits were ok."

Minus: "Checkin was a total computer and staff failure. Checkin staff really bad and unhelpful Boarding was late. Mechanical delays over an hour. Late flight. Flight attendants forcing you to put bags under seat in front of you instead of overhead bin. Bad lunch. Some attendants poor attitudes."
Minus: "They are very sneaky and try to make you check carryon bags - for $120. Will never fly w them again."

Minus: "If you are seating at the end of the plane they never have the 2 choice of meal and you are force to eat whatever is left, it happens more than once, seem to be the practice and is not fair to the costumer"

Minus: "The seats were the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced. There was no leg room. My knees were in the back of the seat in front of me abd I could not move. Unless you are way below average height, don’t take this airline."
Minus: "This event refers to my TAP flight from Lisbon to Heathrow on 21-Jan-2018. We arrived to the airport nearly 2 hours before departure time, waited 35min in the security checks and my girlfriend was held 20min in the passport control. While she was queuing for the 2no police officers to check her passport, an airport assistant came to the queue and asked who was due to board in TP364 to Heathrow. She was made aware that my girlfriend was there due to board that flight. In the meantime I made my way to the gate to make the gate assistants aware that she was held in the passport checks and was already on her way to the gate. Having said that, the zealous assistants in the gate have closed the gate in front of me, 18min before scheduled departure time and - "very kindly" - told me that I wouldn't be boarding that flight anymore even though my girlfriend have arrived in the meantime. One can imagine the frustration I felt finding out that the flight departure was delayed and that the flight actually departed 40min late. At that time I was already suffering the extortion of the customer service from TAP, claiming from me circa 400Eur from each of us for a one way ticket in the next flight to London. Therefore... until I remember this... I AM NOT FLYING TAP ANYMORE... I am very proud of being Portuguese but in similar situations that occurred with me flying British Airways, Lufthansa or Air Italia, I have always been treated with much more respect and customer care!"

Minus: "Be aware at check-in. It seems TAP never keeps the promise on the seats you reserved/paid for. The seats reserved appear in your e-ticket and in their app after purchase. But at check-in you find you were moved to the back and to the middle. All good seats gone. Has happened frequently with us!"

Plus: "I asked if it were possible to change my seat at the gate and was promptly given a window seat. They were very pleasant and professional. Food was very good and movie choices excellent. Good customer service."

Minus: "Lobster appetizer was dry, hard, and tough. Steak dinner was prepared nicely, but of medium- low quality meat. Announcements are not heard in headphones, which in emergency situations could be dangerous. Noise reducing headphones supplier are effective in the noise reduction function, but not high quality audio resolution, with some dialogue intelligible. Business class seat wasn't a full recline as are those of most competitors, but it was comfortable. I didn't see any snack offerings that most other airlines have available between meals."

Minus: "The plane was making the strangest noises!! Something with the landing gear perhaps? Very high pitched noise. Also, the boarding was horrendous. No warning of the fact that we would have such a long trek to the airplane and in the rain, no less. However, I was grateful that we ended up taking a larger plane to accommodate all of the luggage. But then the stewardess had to spray something in the air around the bins, I found that to be very strange."
