Minus: "A couple things went wrong on this trip, my checked luggage got misplaced for a day, and a nice women in baggage claim told me what was happening and a nice man handled my claim and my bag has now been returned to me. The bigger thing is my flight bas delayed taking off by 3 hours. Let me start that I would rather have a part replaced on the runway then not, safety is paramount. The fact is my flight took off 3 hours late from London (VS11), and got to my destination (BOS) 2.5 hours late. Kudos to the flight crew for getting me to my destination faster by gaining a little time. Plus, since BOSTON was my final destination it was all fine this time. But if I had had to get home to the elder person I take care of or my teenager it would been a problem. Again, I'm annoyed, but I do understand the reasons and they are valid and preferred. I have heard that airlines to keep their flight rating high, wait for planes to leave the gate on time and then do repairs on the tarmac. If this is still a SOP for airlines you should change the way the statistics are collected and figure out a way of not perpetuating this type of disincentive. This is just hypothesis on my part, and my whole trip had little negatives."

It says you can do it cheaper on Lufthansa.com but I could not find where you can actually do that. All in all spend 30 minutes with no result. Had to pay at check in $44 instead of $27. And it was just one of many other problems and inconveniences with their website."

That added 8 hours of travel time to our trip which I had booked to minimize travel time as I was traveling with pets. United is the WORST."

Plus: "When you travel with an infant it's already a difficult trip but it's really fraustrating when you find out that they didn't assign you to the seats with the baby bassanet, and when I went to the counter to fix the problem instead they change our window seats to an isle seats without even asking or notifying us with the changes, and they when I asked how come you don't automatically assign infant reservations to infant seats their excuse was what if there were more infants than available infant seats and they already gave out those seats with extended leg space to others who already had paid for it, and surprisingly there were multiple of infants on board none of them in those seats but rather the other passengers who paid for it, so basically they got paid extra and you will only suffer for almost 10 hrs so they can make extra profit. NEVER AGAIN AUSTRIAN AIRLINES!!!"

This plane needs to be retired it is so old! United Airlines should be embarrassed! I can't believe this plane is still in circulation at least the inside of it! How about updating it to modern times?"

Minus: "it's the 21st century but the aircraft has no audio/video system. Not even a USB port to charge devices or allow using my own entertainment device."
Plus: "Served a lot of food. Most personnel friendly and helpful. Enjoyed entertainment selections. Plus this flight was $300 cheaper than the others. Convenient times and choice of airports."

Minus: "Really rude flight attendant even after we boarded and left late. She was rude to people sitting in the exit seats, rudely demanding attention while she rushed through the safety guidelines. She then very rudely told me I had to pay for what I was trying to order, even though I was reading it off the menu? She acted as if I was stupid because I don’t speak swedish, but she did not speak the language of our destination, and it was a connecting flight."

Minus: "Got asked to leave my seat in row 3 for one further back because I couldnt pull up my ticket mid flight to show it was my seat. Their system had me in another row so I missed out on the extra service offered to that row."

The SAS workers need to be trained - how about putting up a sign that says "this line for parking vouchers ony'ly" when 300 people are lined up for assistance."
Plus: "Very friendly crew. Landed on time. The plane was full but it was no panic during disembarkation - everyone was silent. I have never seen anything quite like this before!"
Minus: "Our suitcase was damaged. Because we did not notice this until we got to our apartment we found that it is not possible to make acclaim, rather you just have to make a general complaint with a response according to SAS likely in 3 weeks. This process took over an hour of my time. The three tel numbers given to report damage are in Scandinavia and not much use when travelling within the UK."

I was not able to choose my seat and was seated in the back of the plane. Consequently this meant that every parent on the plane with two-year-olds decided that the best place to let them stretch their little legs was back by me. I work with small children so I understand that when they reach that age all they want to do is kick and punch, but I didn't want to end my vacation by having half a dozen two-year-olds punch my leg or try to crawl under my chair as they wandered nearby. I still have bruises."
Plus: "A bottle of water along with the standard pillow and blanket at each seat. Never had a long line for the bathroom (dumb luck?)"
Minus: "I had the same seat as I originally chose, but my husband's seat was changed without any consent and he had to change from the isle seat to the middle seat. Due to this, he could not sleep at all in 8-hour flight. I bought the ticket well in advance and chose the seats, and that was all in vain. I have no idea why it happened, and we are very disappointed."

Then getting on a bus to board the flight instead of a jetway? I thought TAP was Portugal's national airline and had priority space at Lisbon..apparently not. No soap in the bathrooms on the plane! Ran out of diet soda (and we weren't at the back of the plane). On the way over, the flight attendants gave us conflicting instructions about our toddle sons's ability to sleep on the floor or on our laps. The entertainment system didn't work."

Minus: "I would like to see all TAP planes come with a standard entertainment option on the headrest in front of you with the advanced menu option of movies, games, radio, etc. and ensure all headphone jacks are operational. (Thisnflight the screen was messed up...not something you want to look at for 8 hours. ) I couldn't eat half the food because the salad wasn't anything but cabbage and a tomato and the corn and meat dish was cold and weird. I don't know what the dessert was but I got it down. I think the sandwich I got before landing was pesto and mayonnaise but I'm not sure. I didn't get much of it down before gagging. I wish when booking a flight you were given the menu or you could choose early in the flight and then be served. I bet it would cut down on wasted food and money."

Plus: "The seats were comfortable and already stocked with a pillow and blanket for all. we each had a personal screen stocked with movies, music, games and flight info. at no additional cost and that was great for passing the time during a long flight from Lisbon to NY. The crew was the best part, so pleasant and helpful and professional. We were instructed to close the shades and were allowed to sleep and woken up for the custom form and the great meal which had the option of soda or wine, etc. at no additional cost. The quality of the food was impressive and the salad even came with a packet of real Portuguese olive oil and vinegar. When appropriate we all had to open the shades and drinks were served again and later a small snack of a sandwich and a juice were given all in perfect timing."
Minus: "Filthy dirty airport, club and plane. No power in the seats to boot. Clown show. Never again see above."

Minus: "There were 2 screaming children in the row next to me. The parents did not handle themselves well. On the brightside, the crew did everything they could to help better the situation."
Minus: "I found it very frustrating that we were told at the ticket counter the boarding would begin at 11:15am for a 12:45pm flight time. I arrived at the airport over two hrs in advance and then had to run a significant distance through the airport and sweat and be unnecessarily anxious waiting on the customs line only to arrive at the gate at 11:20am, to have my bags checked for a second time and then be unable to get any food or coffee before a flight that did not begin boarding for another 40 minutes. I did and still do not see the need for that additional luggage/security check and then being held at the gate for almost an extra hour for seemingly no reason at all."
Plus: "Flight staff was great, service was top notch. food was surprisingly good, red wine included in your ticket. movie choice was good. coach seat was as manageable for a long flight. you pretty much know what your getting yourself into flying coach overseas. this was a pretty good seat."
Minus: "We flew thru about an hour straight of moderate turbulence but i'm guessing that was unavoidable. Checkin was a bit weird, they had a gate change and never announced it. Fortunately, i checked the board. about 6 of us had been at the other gate for a long while."
Minus: "We experienced a 6 hour delay in Lisbon because there was no fuel available - terrible planning causing us to spend hours on the runway."

Minus: "My first flight from Madrid to Portugal was cancelled (at midnight) so I had to sleep in the terminal because the bus they provided to the hotel couldn't take all of us. Then my flight to New Jersey was delayed several hours making me miss my next flight to Denver (home) and I had to spend a 2nd night in the terminal. I never received and hotel/food/taxi vouchers. I will do everything to avoid flying with TAP Portugal ever again."

Minus: "Once we entered the boarding area we weren't allowed back out to get a sandwich, souvenir, etc. This was absolutely unacceptable. I felt like a prisoner in that area. I can't believe they thought this was OK."

Minus: "My entertainment console did not work for the entire 8 hour flight, and to make matters worse the screen kept flashing a bright white light every 30 seconds or so, preventing me from sleeping. I had to tell 3-4 crew members for them to at least broadcast a movie to my seat to make the flashing stop. I was also seated right next to the bathroom, which usually isn't so bad, but since most of the passengers were elderly, it was being used literally nonstop for the majority of the flight. The crew only briefly cleaned it once... I was seated next to a screaming toddler as well. This isn't really the airline's fault, but it certainly didn't help. I felt like I did not get my money's worth for this flight and that it was a poor experience."
