Brittiska resenärer/medborgare utanför EU och EES som är bosatta i Storbritannien får inte resa till Frankrike för icke-väsentliga ändamål. Viktiga resor är fortfarande tillåtna. Resenärer måste fylla i en ”edsvuren förklaring”, (déclaration sur l’honneur) för att själva intyga att de inte lider av symptom som är förknippade med COVID-19 och inte har varit i kontakt med bekräftade fall under de föregående två veckorna. Resenärer måste uppvisa ett läkarintyg med ett negativt COVID-19 PCR-testresultat utfärdat inom 72 timmar före avresan. Barn under 11 år är undantagna från kravet på att presentera ett COVID-19 testresultat. Utländska resenärer som inte är medborgare i ovannämnda länder eller som inte anländer från ett av ovanstående länder förbjuds fortfarande från att resa in i Frankrike. Resenärer som anländer utanför de ovan nämnda länderna måste ha ett Exempted International Travel Certificate Certificate för att resa in i och transitera i Frankrike, som visar att deras resa är av "väsentlig" karaktär.
Resenärer måste genomgå en 7-dagars isoleringsperiod och ta ytterligare ett COVID-19 PCR-test i slutet av denna period.
Det finns särskilda regler för resande som passerar genom Frankrike för att återvända till sitt hemland. Endast direkt transitering till ditt hemland är tillåten. Seat selections of many passengers (including my boyfriend's and my own) were switched at the last minute right as we were boarding . We had to wait until everyone was seated to negotiate seat changes with fellow passengers in order to sit together. The seat and luggage moves added to the chaos on the plane and delayed the flight by about 45 minutes. food was mediocre, seats uncomfortable. All in all not a good experience. Had boarding been calmer and smoother the rest of the issues wouldn't be as notable as us passengers would have been in a much better mood."

Indeed, my carry-on arrived with several scratches on the plastic edges as well as some signs of worn on the textile. Because of this carry-on baggage size restrictions, I will not fly TAP airlines again (unless I can travel with my hand purse only)."

They changed 4 times!!! a) Having tickets with seat assignments free of charge, had the chosen seats confirmed on e-ticket. b) At airport, 3 days before departure, attendant informed that seats assignment had been erased; she made new seat assignments at worse location; c) On check-in, found that seats were changed again to worse even; now to the back, and “2 in the middle of 4”. d) Had to pay to get my original free of charge seat assignments!!! Had similar situations in all my recent TAP flights. Cannot believe is a system problem! Looks like more a TAP policy to short-change (long time, in my case) customers."

She said next flight would be 2 days later - after calling the insurance I booked for the flight, they didn't want to reimburse for the interruption because the airline could not explain why it got canceled and i should prove that the flight was canceled - after being 6h on the phone with airline and insurance and waiting line had to hang of without solution. I had to purchase a new ticket from another airline to be able to fly on the same day back to Miami. - after arriving at the airport next morning for the other flight it turns out that Tap Portugal booked me to British Airways but they have not send me a notification email about it, so if I do not ask at the counter for Tap Portugal for the paperwork for the insurance I would never find out that i got a new flight and i would have miss it and the insurance would have never pay for it. With the new ticket i had to purchase, my travel with Tap Portugal cost me on the end around $3000, and I do not have that much money for a ticket at all, now I have a financial trouble. Thanks, never again."

Most deplorable of all is the fact that they have one person on staff at a special desk where one can go to pay for the newly discovered overages. This desk and the person assigned to it full time is the proof that the company expects this kind of result before hand. Where on most continental flights the weight limit is usually set at 31 kilograms for checked-in baggages TAP Portugal has a limit of 23kg. Where most companies have no weight limit or around 20kg on carry-on baggage they have 8kg. The overages in weight result in a flat fee of $100 per luggage, even if the luggage is just one kilogram over the allowed limit. The low ticket purchase price is in my opinion a deplorable marketing scheme aimed at getting people to buy their tickets and then be faced with extra charges when it turns out weight alloweances are set at domestic standards."

My son and i each had a carry on suitcase that met the requirment when I flew to Rome last friday on the exact same size plane. I was told I was NOT to have two types of carry on bags i was only ALOWED ONE and was NOT given the option of putting it under my seat. They were more than willing to charge me another 50 Euro to check my carry on bag. But first she asked to see my ticket to see if i was even allowed another checked bag. She DID NOT look at my ticket but immediately flipped my passport and saw that i was from the US AND TOLD ME I WAS ALLOWED ONLY ONE CARRY ON BAG! Yet this awesomely nice Canadian couple (they spoke to me after the flight landed in Paris and were shocked i was made to do this given what they carried on the plane) who had checked and paid for 3 bags and then turned around and carried on a cloth canvas bag for him, a black purse for her, a shopping bag bigger than her purse with items in it and two backpacks. What happened to being able to carry on a carry on suitcase and a purse for women or a lap top size bag, which in some cases is larger than my backpack?I have never hated anyone in my life but I am really tired of the world judging ALL AMERICANS under the same umbrella. I spent my hard earned money in Italy and to be treated with such disrespect on the way out of the country completley floored me! I will not ever fly back into Rome, Italy on any airline! The boarding process should be changed as it is a free for all and people are waiting in line on the jetway, when really they are waiting for the buses. I believe the plane was at Terminal 2, so we had to switch terminals via bus. Just seemed as though there should be a better process for boarding than lining up down the middle of the terminal or manage the process differently as we were boarding buses."

Minus: "Flat out the worst flying experience I've ever had. The bag checkin processes was a nightmare; I showed up super early to the airport, with more than enough time to check my bag and board without issue. The bag checkin line didn't move for over an hour, and while there were still tons of people waiting to check their bags for flights that were soon departing, most of the counter employees packed up and left. When someone pointed out that we would miss our flights, the attendants said "my shift is over" and walked away. At this point, the line broke and passengers started to cut the line, two people nearly got into a fight, airport security even had to come. My bag was finally checked five minutes before the flight left (!!!!!). I was unsure if I'd make the flight, or if my bag would make it on the aircraft. The worst part is that throughout their incompetent checkin processes, the attendants were all incredibly rude. I am NEVER flying this airline again, even if I have to pay twice as much for my ticket."

Minus: "Paid $180 one way trip on a cheap airline. I expected to fly with British Airways. That is what was sold to me. Like the airline pulled a fast one on me. I do not like this at all and extremely upset."
