Sitter man här i Prague utan ombyte och vinterjacka som checkades in med väskan eftersom man blev ombed at på grund av fullsatt plan checka in sitt handbagage vid gaten innan man skulle kliva ombord. I was sent to the Lufthansa counter, which didn’t open until 11:30, when I should have gone to the United counter. An hour of my time was wasted, which almost resulted in my missing the one-hour before take-off check-in deadline. The only reason I didn’t miss the deadline was because the flight was late taking off."

Minus: "Lufthansa has a horrible website. I wanted to check in online but I had to no reservation or ticket number is provided so I had to go to my old reservations to find it. .Next I wanted to pay for my luggage online but there was no link given. It says you can do it cheaper on Lufthansa.com but I could not find where you can actually do that. All in all spend 30 minutes with no result. Had to pay at check in $44 instead of $27. And it was just one of many other problems and inconveniences with their website."

Minus: "First time took Lufthansa airlines and it was my one of the worst experience. Hospitality is respected when customer is helped when they are in trouble not when they is happily boarded. I have to travel from Milan to San Francisco and I missed flight of my one leg ( milan to frankfurt) of journeyand I went for help and non of the Lufthansa staff at Milan airport helped me. Although my connecting flight was after 12hr they just gave me some random number which to call. I have never experience this in my 8yr of international travel."

The agent at the check in desk immediately put us on an alternate AIr France flight via CDG to LAX, which left an hour before our FRA flight. The service on the flight was excellent. But we are most thankful for the quick re-booking on a different alternative, ensuring no hiccup. We will only be flying Lufthansa from now on, and recommending Lufthansa to all friends and colleagues."

Minus: "Flights were late and boarding was caios, no one had any clue what to do. Blankets were filthy. Entertainment had limited choice. Considering I took six flights in this month, I will let it slide that they ran out of New movies. Worst part was food. Obviously, there is no quality consideration when they decide menu. Check Emirates or other similar fare bracket airlines to understand the gravity of Lufthansa food problem. If one reason I had to choose to drop Lufthansa from my future consideration then that would be worst food and drinks. I would strongly recommend that they should assign people who need additional time to board at the back of the plane. It will help them to go back of the plane faster and avoid gridlock in the middle. Another advantage is it will help other passengers leave plane faster at the end of the ride. Boarding process will be come significantly faster by filling the plane from back to front by loading passanger with children and who needs time at the first loading area at the back of the plane. Minus: "We departed late from Stockholm and then had to do a fly around when we approached Frankfurt because there was debris on the runway. We nearly missed our connection because of the delays."

Minus: "Planes are old and cramped. Our plane gave us the "personal entertainment option" which meant you had to use your own device since they are too cheap to upgrade the planes. However, this international flight only had american plugs so anyone without an adapter was SOL. I tried to watch the large screen at the front of my section but they showed the movie Lion that is in Hindi and therefore had subtitles and I couldn't read the words from 12 rows back. The boarded process is like a cattle call. DO NOT FLY UNITED!!! I thought I was flying Lufthansa but it was a bait and switch situation."

There was not enough space to accommodate people waiting in the basement so people had to stand on stairs or by the galley. Flight attendants kept on telling people not to do so but there was simply not enough space."

Minus: "I think I have gotten used to Asiana's and Korean Airlines'. It just didn't seem to measure up to their business class service. The food (which has been highly rated!) I found to be just mediocre. Maybe it's because I was living in Asia for eight years and had become more accustom to asian cuisine?? I didn't love the seat either. When you recline, your feet are cramped inside a small area under the seat in front of you. It was cramped. The ability to customize the seat recline was limited. I like being able to move the head and feet into my own customized position. The business class seats from Vienna to Amman felt like coach."

Minus: "After the breakfast (rather poor) no drink was suggested. There was a cup for tee or coffee. Empty one. After the breakfast they just took it away with other dirty dishes. It happened to all passengers in my neighborhood."

We try to stay hydrated on the flights and when I asked for water at the back of the plane, I was kindly given the water and another attendant grabbed the curtain and closed it making it plain I was not to be there. (I've never had that happen on any other flight.)"

Minus: "I tried to reschedule due to a death in the family and due to the "small print" this was not possible. Then when I did travel, it turned out I didn't have the right for a piece luggage (again "small print"). I paid for the extra piece and I was double-charged (same amount withdrawn twice). Now I have opened a complained with Austrian and they haven't responded so far."

Plus: "Make sure your carry on luggage is less then 8 kg. Or you would have to check it at your own cost. The food is OK but the portion is very small. If you want a window or isle seat, it would’ve cost you 30 euro to reserve it. The crew is very nice. I guess because the air fare is very cheap, they need to do everything to make the extra cash."

Minus: "All flight attendants were great except for one tall with very short blonde hair. What a poor attitude! She really ruined my trip. There was not an exchange with her that was friendly and agreeable. When serving drinks a second time, she asked me what would I like to drink and I answered: What do you have? I had not asked the first time drinks were served since I knew I wanted orange juice. he second time, and not wanted to drink the same, I asked: what do you have? and her answer was: "Same as before". I had to let her know I had not asked before and then she proceeded to tell me the different drinks and finally added: My colleague will take care of you. She did not want to serve me. The first incident went I tried to use the bathroom in the back of the plane, she would tell people: "don"t use that one, I need that bathroom for......." ( not sure for what but her tone was so rude,that people walked to the other bathroom embarrassed). All I can say is that everything else was great, including the friendliness of all other crew, but that one ruined the experience. A third time I got up to walk to the bathroom and the seatbelt sign was on, but so it had been for a long time. She prompted me to go back to my seat. All others seem to do their job without been rude, Not sure why this one couldn't. Job stress? Not the passenger's problem. Besides that and the poor movie choices, everything else was great. I think the flight was delayed but to that point everything was going so smooth, I didn't even notice. I will fly Austrian again, and would love to visit Vienna. Please advise how to add the miles of my trip to my account. I booked in Kayak, left to Ohio from Miami running from hurricane Irma, my return from Ohio to Miami was cancelled and I had to embark on that long plan10 day trip without even returning home to Miami to pack. I totally forgot about putting the miles on my account on either ticket counter."

Minus: "The entertainment program is a bit slim, to my taste - but I'm not a big consumer of inflight movies, as I prefer to get more sleep when I fly. When compared to the entertainment program on Singapore Airlines, for example, Austrian's own can't really compete."

But not the case with Austrian The serving of it was fine. Restroom options are less than adequate too."

Minus: "The website is a horror, particularly from an iPad. Trying to web checkin was an arduous battle. Obviously the consumer is the least important factor in the lack of managing the product. I avoid Austrian for that simple reason. Crew polite. Pilot informative."

Minus: "Vi sitter i planer och ser våra väskor på en vagn, redo att lastas. Helt plötsligt så kör de iväg vagnen, vi ser att de kör mot terminalen. När vi frågar personalen vad som händer så säger de att väskorna skall lastas framtill i planet. DE LJUGER!! planet stänger dörrarna, vi startar och flyger. När vi landar så berättar de att bagaget inte kom med. utan väskor så åker vår grupp till hotellet. Det hemska var att besättningen ljög istället för att berätta och informera på ett bra sätt. Väskorna kördes ut och kom efter midnatt."

Bonus points for the Beemster cheese sandwich (I was totally disappointed when they served the food, but more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cheese - I even bought some afterwards, from the Albert Heijn just outside the security area)."

Passengers were divided in 5 lanes, depending on their seating area withing the plane (for a more efficient boarding, I presume) but, by the time we all got to the actual aircraft, we formed another queue in the boarding bridge so it didn't feel like any time was saved or anything."

Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

The SAS workers need to be trained - how about putting up a sign that says "this line for parking vouchers ony'ly" when 300 people are lined up for assistance."

When someone from SAS finally came, I was told I would be escorted through security and most into the plane but then the "manager" or whoever was in charge denied it. The plane did not leave for another our and instead of arguing with the costumers they could have just helped us get on the plane. It was unfair of them to close the check in desks early and on top of that to catch a plane the next day they wanted to charge and exorbitant fee. I Wii never fly SAS again."

We spent the entire time in a panic trying to figure out how else we could get to our destination in time for a wedding. When we finally talked to someone at the counter, he said this was just normal procedure to be able to shuffle seats. This is not normal. I have flown with many airlines, and I cannot imagine it is ever "normal" policy to tell people they have been downgraded to standby until just before the flight. So much anxiety. Also, the flight was delayed, and the crew had no communication about gates or any other information (within their OWN AIRLINE) for those with connecting flights."

One to use the machines, one to check bags and another for special situations. We tried the machines, didn't work. A rep told us to go to the special situations line. There was a rep there that was trying to prevent people to getting into the line because it was sooo long (1+ hr). So we tied the machines again. Didn't work. So we convinced the guy to let us in the special line. It was nuts. We waited as our flight got closer and closer. Right when it looked like we might make the flight, one of the TWO reps left. When we finally made it, they said we wouldn't make the flight. We rebooked and had to pay extra. WORST travel experience ever."

Minus: "Got delayed 13-hours in an airport with no SAS staff present to communicate anything to all of the passengers. We were not accommodated with hotel vouchers or provided with alternative travel options to our final destinations and missed flights. SAS did not cancel the flight after the first 4-hours of delay which is illegal by EU Standards. None of us were able to leave the airport as we were not told any information about potential flight departure times and it would have been $2000 to re-book with a different airline. No answers were given by SAS over the phone and their staff seemed unaware of any problems."

Detta hände flera passagerare som var arga och jag undrar om ni sätter detta i system för att tjäna mer. Jag reste med Ryan Air för ett par år sedan och lovade mig själv aldrig mer, men ville gärna ge det en chans till men nu vet jag definitivt att jag aldrig reser med er igen och skall dessutom varna alla för detta och inte blir det billigare heller med alla extrakostnader som ni tar ut. Fy för uselt flygbolag!!"
