Grekland har begränsat inresor för alla resenärer med undantag för invånare från EU+-länderna. EU+ består av Europeiska unionen, Storbritannien, Schweiz, Norge, Lichtenstein och Island. Medborgare och invånare från Australien, Israel, Sydkorea, Nya Zeeland, Ryssland, Thailand och Förenade Arabemiraten får också resa in i landet. Inresande från Förenade Arabemiraten måste resa med direktflyg och kunna uppvisa bevis på permanent uppehållstillstånd i Förenade Arabemiraten, returbiljetter och hotellbokningar. Utländska resenärer får endast resa in från andra områden om de tillhör en särskild kategori, t.ex. hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal, studenter, regeringsmedlemmar, diplomater, militär personal, humanitär hjälparbetare, flygbesättning, säsongsarbetare, genomresande eller resande som reser in i Grekland av skäl som har godkänts av Greklands ambassad eller konsulat. Förteckningen över kategorier finns här. Flyg från Turkiet är inställda, förutom flygningar för att få hem grekiska medborgare och invånare samt särskilda flygningar som regeringen beslutat om. Inresande från Albanien och Nordmakedonien måste anlända till Aten.
Alla resenärer måste uppvisa ett medicinskt intyg med ett negativt resultat från PCR-testet för COVID-19 som utfärdats senast 72 timmar före ankomst. Förutom de obligatoriska testkraven för resor som anges ovan måste resenärer som anländer från Storbritannien och Förenade Arabemiraten genomgå ett snabbt COVID-19-test vid ankomst. Alla resenärer, förutom de som endast reser genom en flygplats i Grekland, måste fylla i följande formulär "Passenger Locator Form (PLF)" 24 timmar före incheckning. En QR-kod som genereras utifrån det ifyllda formuläret måste uppvisas vid ankomsten.
Passagerare måste testas för COVID-19 vid ankomsten. Mer information finns att läsa här. Resenärer är föremål för en obligatorisk 7-dagars förebyggande karantän. Resenärer som anländer från Storbritannien eller Förenade Arabemiraten måste isolera sig i 7 dagar på den adress de anger på sin PLF i händelse av negativt provsvar. Om de stannar en kortare period måste de självisolera sig fram till avresedagen. Vid slutet av 7-dagars självisolering bör resenärerna genomgå ett nytt PCR-test för att kunna lämna karantänen. Om resultatet av deras snabba COVID-19-test vid ankomst till Grekland är positivt kommer de grekiska myndigheterna att be dem att sätta sig i karantän tills annat meddelats.

I literally spent an hour in the toilet trying to fall asleep because at least in there I had room to extend my legs. At least in there I could actually breathe (the ventilation system is totally inadequate for anyone sitting near the windows and results in horribly stuffy and uncomfortable air.)"

Idea was she would place the dog on the table space next to her seat. It would be exactly the same for both seats. Do not know what they were thinking. There were other business class seats on the other side that had the table space ext to the window away from the aisle. That would make sense for the lady with dog. Business class was full and I was the last to get on, 45 minute connection in Zurich from terminal A to E, my seat was given. But as I objected, they moved the dog lady and gave me back my seat. But they never asked a person in the seat that would have made sense to give her to trade seats."

Sen fick vi vänta ytterligare 1 timme ombord i värmen helt ohyggligt när folk börjar oroa sig för konsekvenserna etc det var ju uppenbart ingen skulle komma ut amma kväll (efter midnatt). När väl ute fanns bara 1 service desk till hela planet, jag kunde åka hem och sova och skita i vouchers men de som behövde hotell lär ha väntat halva natten. Det enda som var ok var att de svarade snabbt på telefon följande morgon - men meddelade inte som man sagt den nya bokningen via sms eller mail!"

One person is not a statistical point and accuse the whole Company. But this was repeated on my second flight from Munich to Athens. Then I said, this is not coincidence, it is a pattern that is repeated and not professional . NEVER AGAIN WITH LUFTHANSA is my decision and my recommendation."

Getting luggage after flight at Dulles took a really long time, but I think that is more of an airport issue as getting my luggage from another Austrian airlines flight to another airport was a breeze."

When we finally talked to someone at the counter, he said this was just normal procedure to be able to shuffle seats. This is not normal. Also, the flight was delayed, and the crew had no communication about gates or any other information (within their OWN AIRLINE) for those with connecting flights."

The on-line Seating Selection is also unreliable, I was seated next to an empty seat which had been showing to be unavailable on-line! Thank goodness for the excellent airport check-in staff and the Flight Crew!"
