Crew, food and in-flight entertainment were all great!

Overall it was all good and Swiss Air is a great company —however check in time in MIami was 1 hour and 45 minutes. This was very frustrating

Minus: "We didn't fly to Zurich. Instead, we flew from Berlin to Frankfurt to San Francisco to San Diego. Although the alternate airlines did a fine job and we had nice flights thanks to them, we only found out about the change when we arrived at the airport and it caused us multiple inconveniences throughout the day. Our flight from Berlin to Zurich was scheduled to board at 9am, so we left our accommodations at 6:30am so we could arrive at the airport around 7am. It was a rushed, hectic morning and we stayed up late preparing for it the best we could. When we arrived and found out our flight was canceled, we learned our new flight wouldn't board until 11am. So we rushed for no reason and had to spend a considerable amount of extra time at the airport that we could have spent enjoying coffee one last time at a local cafe or something. We planned to fly straight from Zurich to San Diego so we could participate in an interview for our Global entry application (which you can only do when arriving in the US from an international flight). Because we had a brief layover in San Francisco instead, we had no time for this and were unable to do the interview when we arrived in San Diego because it was a domestic flight. The change also caused issues with our luggage. We're not used to checking bags when we fly OR flying internationally with layovers in the US, so we asked the agent at the Swiss desk in Berlin how it would would with both of those aspects in our travel with the itinerary changes. The agent told us our luggage would follow us all the way to San Diego and we didn't have to worry about it. However, we learned once we got to San Diego that our bags were left in San Francisco because apparently we were supposed to pick them up and recheck them, but we had no idea. It was a huge bummer and we wish we would have had more control over our itinerary that day. People book certain flights for certain reasons and need to have a say when their flights need to change."

Minus: "I bought economy class ticket! (I have a printout ticket as proof!) When I went to the airport i had a VERY UNPLEASANT surprise. I had a 23kg bag. Bording stuart said that my ticket is ECO LIGHT class and I don't have the right to any baggage. Worst thing of all was that the reason of my trip to Paris was my sister's graduation and half of the baggage was my formal wear and other half were presents for my sister! Your lack of transparency ruined one in lifetime special event- MY SISTER'S GRADUATION. I am very glad that you asked me for my opinion because I am using my free time to demand full refund, even tough the damage is much bigger than the cost of the ticket and it's irreplaceable."

There is no possible way for anyone who isn't seriously sedated to sleep or even sit for any extended period of time in what amount to slightly cushioned coffins. I literally spent an hour in the toilet trying to fall asleep because at least in there I had room to extend my legs. At least in there I could actually breathe (the ventilation system is totally inadequate for anyone sitting near the windows and results in horribly stuffy and uncomfortable air.)"

On time to a t. The lead flight attendant Cameron was so kind helping us with luggage as we got on with our two little ones and then gave our son a treat as we headed off.

Incredibly rude crew, this after cancelling my return flight entirely and leaving me in limbo how I’d get home, even re-scheduling my after-layover flight without notice.

Another good flight newer plane therefore better seats. The landing was excellent!

I even asked in a Toronto and they said no and nobody in Atlanta told me to collect my bags. So bags never made it until the next AM. The West Jet rep was very good and located the bags and they were delivered as promised. You should provide 3 page detailed instructions on how to handle Toronto. I am a seasoned traveler by the way. I’ve never seen anything worse. I could go on and on."

I use a wheelchair and even zipping through as fast as I could I was 15 minutes late arriving at the gate. I booked this flight thinking I had at least and hour and a bit between flights. Thankfully others on my flight were also late so the Ottawa bound plane did not leave on time"

Att gå ombord var kaos och en del förändringar med att gå ombord. Det som ni har kunnat att göra är att komma ut med tydliga information och tydliga instruktioner till resenärer så att de inte agerar på egna händer tex när de står i kön kunde de som var vid disken att tala om i högtalaren till resenärer att sätta sig ner och ropar endast på dem som har sittplatser längst in i flyget och var noga med att kontrollera sittplatser vid på stigning så att de underlättar senare steget när resenärerna är på flyget. Det finns en del som man kunde ha gjort men jag har tyvärr inte tid att skriva allt här. Lycka till

It was just before we boarded the aircraft that we had to literally go thru another security check, we were body checked, all our carry on luggages inspected again and swabbed down. The staff were very rough and not courteous, we were treated like scum. The business class experience for travellers should be better, we were then lined up with Economy class passengers. Turkish Airlines Ground Staff are extremely rude and condescending, muttering under their breath, laughing and being very disrespectful. This was very demeaning.

Missed this flight due to previous flight being delayed. No one helped with getting me through customs and borders security so I can make it on time. I had to stand in the longest line and end up staying overnight in Toronto. Now the airlines won’t pay for my hotel accommodation

Overall VERY impressed. Food was absolutely top notch, service was good. We transferred in Istanbul and this is a gorgeous airport. It's a bit far from the city but everything else was great. Turkish Airlines Airlines put us up on a hotel since we had a long layover. Very impressed and would certainly look forward to another flight with them. 10/10 and the price was right

They said they couldn’t complete my reservation without it and needed an email confirmation from me to approve the new charge. Seeing I was short on time, I didn’t have a choice. Minus: "There were a few small things that could have been better (Which I'll mention), but the worst thing about the flight was the airport. Ataturk Airport is a mess. After the attempted coup, they really upped security, forcing all international flights to go through a second security screening after transferring from another airport. It's understandable but the line moved at a molasses-like speed when I had only 25 minutes to make my connecting flight. The security personnel were rude, as well. Also, when I went to make my connecting gate in Cairo, there was no one at the gate after the required boarding time (Because security had held us up), forcing some of us to board the plane without having anyone to show us onto the plane (Very scary). The flight boarding was chaotic, and no announcements were made about what we were supposed to do. Besides the lack of boarding gates, the only other serious complaint I had against Turkish Airlines (Because it really was great overall) was that the pilots and flight attendants were very hard to understand. I have taught ESL for the past 5 years, and I still had a hard time as an American understanding their English. Also, they frequently didn't understand or misunderstood questions that I would ask them. I've never had a hard time understanding flight attendants on an international flight, but I only understood about 20% of what anyone said over the loud speaker in the plane. And it's nice to be able to understand when the pilot says, "We are experiencing some turbulence and would like everyone to buckle their seatbelts until it passes." Two small things remain: 1. The bathroom trash cans were full on every flight (A small thing but makes everything feel "trashy"). 2. The flight attendants seemed unhappy, and they definitely seemed unhappy to be serving us. I can only assume they are that way because they aren't treated particularly well by their bosses."

Minus: "Worst boarding as flight was late and who ever was boarding us was rude, I get in my seat was taken, flight attendants were the rudest Iv ever dealt with, anything I asked for was not available, air conditioning was not working in the middle part of the plane. I could not stand sitting so I stood in the back the WHOLE 10 hour flight from the heat. I was so uncomfortable I will definitely take action on this one. I will demand a full refund the whole way I was extremely upset."

Minus: "The flight from DXB was delayed, causing us to miss the connection to LIS in IST. 2 hours after standing at the transfer desk they put us on a flight to LIS via CDG. Luggage was kept in IST. Now we are in LIS with no luggage and no confirmation on its whereabouts. Lost and found staff at LIS (Portway) showed total confusion in claiming luggage was in CDG. Today two planes arrived in LIS from IST, none of them with our luggage. Screen shows my name with mention "Not loaded" regarding the luggage. This incompetence is unacceptable from "Europe's best airline". This title is misleading advertising and should not be allowed."
Minus: "The pilot aborted the landing at the last minute and flew to Another airport where we sat on the runway for an hour with no information. After an hour they said it was up to us if we wanted to stay at the airport or continue on to our original destination, with no information where our connecting flights would be. After continuing on to my origina airport, I was forced to buy a visa out of pocket and spend 6 hour waiting for information from the airline. Finally they shuttled me an hour and a half to the previous airport, being very rude the entire time and making me miss the reason I traveled to my destination in the first place."

I missed this flight due to short connection time and staff at the airport misguided me. They also carried by baggage without informing me. Total chaos.

My dream is to have little bit more comfortable seating. Seats are too hard. My travel involved three flights so I could definitely feel it. Food on the plane is a another one. On the flight from Toronto to Vienna the potato salad could be completely skipped (not so good). Instead I would add some fruit or other salad. Brownie in a plastic wrapping was not so easy to open.,There were lots of seniors and I noticed that they struggle little bit. Otherwise crew was friendly. Thanks so much for all the hard work!

There was one flight attendant on this plane that was very rude to the passengers. She was one of the younger ladies. I don’t remember ever getting her name but the way she is acting is unacceptable.

No answers, just show me the passport and boarding pass, ok, please go back, we'll let you know, then ignore questions."

The flight staff even accommodated the requests of a particularly nasty Russian family seated behind me even though they were total jerks. I was very impressed with their professionalism."

OMG! The 5/21/2022 flight was canceled after we were on board over 3 hours! NO AIR CANADA rep to help! No Air Canada gate to check in with. It was total chaos at the Lisbon airport. Trying to get out today, 5/22/2022, the Air Canada agent said we. needed a new Covid test, only to find out AFTER we paid 20EU, that it was NOT needed. They were not educated on the rules, even though they knew they were checking in people from the canceled flight. Totally UNACCEPTABLE! I will never fly Air Canada again, operated. Y Lufthansa. I plan to post on Facebook and Twitter how bad this was.

When crew came back through at the first meal, they only had two bottles of wine in hand offering top offs (no cart, just physically carrying the bottles). We do not drink alcohol. During the second meal I did not even see them offering the top offs. All other airlines have at least come through a couple of times offering water or soda. Announcements were only audible half the time. Customs forms were confusing for people passing through Canada. This might have been explained over the intercom, but again, it was hard to hear."
