They have put me in middle of two gent’s.. they would placed the seating more comfortable

Kayak canceled and reissued the ticket on the day before my travel, which messed up my seat You might got some money with the change , but your rating will go down

I had a pleasant experience.

Experience in IAD could have been lot better. IAD is one of the worst airport ik n terms of service. Chennai is also equally worst with too many bureacracies.

Minus: "I had left an expensive style of neck/travel pillow i left in my Perth rental car but wasn’t supported to pick it up. I had to arrange for the car rental firm to post it. We had over 3/4 hr to fly. We were boarding. It’s a shame there wasn’t a quick way of getting my pillow to me without customs bureaucracy. It was a simple mistake. A toilet was blocked and temporarily unavailable. Some passengers were taking a long time and queues were building at different times."

Good array of entertainment on offer but our flight was a 'sleeper' so after a fumble with the controls and the limited new releases, I opted to read instead. Not sure we like the Dreamliner configuration and levels of comfort more than the 777 or Airbus offerings but it was fine."
Minus: "A couple on our flight decided it was OK to have their 4-year old run around the cabin shrieking and causing a lot of fuss. Most of us in the cabin complained but these parents were pathetically weak and elected to allow it to continue. No sleep... spoiled experience.. miserable flight in this respect. Terrible Business Lounge 'Aspire' in Gatwick; dirty and poorly equipped - not even Prosecco on offer without paying £5 for a small glass. Qatar should stop using this dreadful place. Crew seemed to have stopped referring to the passengers by name and offer a less-personalised service in Business than we have become accustomed to. The food choices while good, have been paired back as have the selection of wines."

Actually One star is too good a Grade for this complete service failure from A-Z."

I don't like that they can't tell you the gate of your connecting flight and how long it will take to get you there - including if you will need to take a bus and the train. I think this could reduce a lot of anxiety. If they could do this, it would also be helpful to let people who have a connecting flight that is boarding in the next 30 mins off the plane first. This would save pushing and shoving in the aisles... and would also reduce anxiety about booking a flight with such a short layover."

One to check the bag and a second (upstairs) to pay. Both attendants lacked a sense of urgency. In fact, they acted like it was their job to go as slowly as possible. Even after I mentioned I was starting to feel stressed about the time. I overheard other attendants complaining about customers who check in late and expect them to move more quickly. I found their apathy offensive. To add insult to injury, they lost my bags. Having paid $85, which I think is outrageously and obscenely expensive, I'd at least expect my bag to be well taken care of. Sadly, it wasn't. The lost luggage counter was also apathetic, though I realize they are not LOT/Luftansa."

I said I was never given the option to get a ticket with/without a bag for free and they basically told me I was lying. I didn't feel like arguing and paid for the bag. Kayak didn't mention or made me aware of my "kind" of ticket. Either Kayak makes consumers aware of this or LOT shouldn't be posting their flights on Kayak. 2. I flew Eurolot, "A partner of LOT" and not LOT. It should also be CLEAR what it is one is flying."

It is pathetic service in my opinion because the airline put so many elderly passengers with no knowledge of English to a lot of heardship."

Minus: "We were forced to sit on foul smelling seats for the 15 hour flight. The only option given to us was to deplane with barely 2 minutes of time to decide as the aircraft doors were being shut. Check-in took more than an hour and 15 minutes with a slow computer system."

When you want to say no to the customer, atleast make an effort to accommodate the needs of the customer first. Minor requests made by the passengers should be accommodated. You just rudely say No. Learn something from American customer service!!"
Minus: "Connecting though Beijing from Taipei to LAX is not recommended if you can avoid it!"

I had no money and I did not speak the language and the only solution they gave me was to call costumer service with the coins I have left. I will never fly with Air China again and I hope the rest of the people do the same. Horrible horrible experience."

Staff after we landed in city was not able to communicate what was happening & what to do well. Though thru this mix up, staff on plane and comfort was exceptional. Would fly air China again but they need to be more prepared for situations that might arise more better."

Minus: "Flight changed three times with different times. In the end we were delayed for 5 hours and missed connecting flights. They offered a $15 food voucher and forced people to sleep together in a hotel room since they refused to let people who came alone have their own room. They rebooked and made it a complete waste of a vacation day while we wait to board a new flight in the middle of the afternoon."

I had put in request several times for my wife's dietary restrictions as a vegetarian of which was never responded to and the only option was meat in all courses during the flight."

Minus: "Held my bag for two days, No explanation, apparently just wanted to rummage through it. Stranded in Mongolia with no clean clothes or medication."

My bag was lost when I finally arrived at my final destination. I think there was some miscommunication in Okinawa about what I needed to do with my bag. I told them my final destination, so assumed it would be fine, but apparently it was my fault somehow that the bag was lost."

Plus: "The professionalism of the crew was fantastic! The flight attendants did their best to ensure everyone was well hydrated and fed."
Minus: "The seats were extremely cramped for a 6hr flight and the touchscreen used for entertainment wasn't functioning. Air china typically serves some pretty decent food but this time it felt like I was eating some sort of slime posing as beef. I also noticed some Air china flights heat the rolls and others leave them cold. The salad was also frozen solid."
Minus: "Entertainment system mostly included Chinese movies and TV shows and almost none in English which makes no sense."
Plus: "Stuff was friendly and provide newspaper in English. The food was good and served promptly. The flight departs and arrived on time."
Minus: "We were not be able to find our luggage on carousal. Because we spent a lot of time to get through passport control it was servicing other airline. The place to ask the question about the luggage has been closed. Finally in almost 2 hours with help of baggage floor service man we found it with some others people luggage."
Plus: "The crew was very polite. Always available if you need them."
Minus: "The boarding process is kinda chaotic. And you have to take a bus to the plane and enter the plane from a ground staircase."
Minus: "Every time the entertainment was paused for an announcement, it turned the volume WAY up, so loud that it hurt my ears and every time i had to tear the earphones off. I understand not wanting to let people mute the announcements, but minimum volume should be around 30-40%, not 70%"
Plus: "I was able to get a window seat. The crew was friendly and attentive. I fell asleep when they were distributing food and beverages and the stewardess kept an eye out for when I was waking up to ask if I need anything."
Minus: "Air china did not have enough crew to manage the flight. They didn't offer self check in at any kiosk, and they only opened airport check in 2 hours prior to the flight. The lines were out of control. Korean air had to come and assist, which was a good thing because they were much more friendly than the air china staff."
