In plane half of overhead compartments were filled with coats when told that these should go under seats. No consistency between announcements and behavior of crew."

It was incredible service and everyone was super friendly. We so appreciated them making sure we caught our connecting flight!"

I literally spent an hour in the toilet trying to fall asleep because at least in there I had room to extend my legs. At least in there I could actually breathe (the ventilation system is totally inadequate for anyone sitting near the windows and results in horribly stuffy and uncomfortable air.)"
Minus: "If you put the seats this close together, with the amount of recline. Once one person on the fligh reclines their seat it forces everyone else to do so. You can't eat if the person in front of you reclines!"

Terrible for an overseas flight. Food was very poor, staff lied about resetting the entertainment system. The plane took off 1 hour late and was not allowed to taxi to taxi to the gate for 1 hour, making us extremely late."

Boarding by seat number would have been a better idea. Everybody was all over the place getting their bags stored above."

Sen fick vi vänta ytterligare 1 timme ombord i värmen helt ohyggligt när folk börjar oroa sig för konsekvenserna etc det var ju uppenbart ingen skulle komma ut amma kväll (efter midnatt). När väl ute fanns bara 1 service desk till hela planet, jag kunde åka hem och sova och skita i vouchers men de som behövde hotell lär ha väntat halva natten. Det enda som var ok var att de svarade snabbt på telefon följande morgon - men meddelade inte som man sagt den nya bokningen via sms eller mail!"

For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

Toppen i allt

Flights have been completely changed with another airlines just a few hours before departure. New trip had a short connection time between flights and separate check-ins were required. The first flight was a bit delayed, so we had to pick up our luggage after the first flight, run to another terminal check in and drop off baggage again. We almost missed the second flight. That was painful!!!

2nd meal is inedible for Americans.

Minus: "United Airlines knew the border was closed and told me since I was only transferring, I’d be fine. It wasn’t fine and I was detained and sent back. Inexcusable"
Minus: "Arctic char looked like it really was salmon. Need better selection of contemporary movies. When The Third Man is the most attractive alternative it's not so great. Would like to have seen the attendants more pro-active in asking about beverages and passing out snacks, fruit, etc. Saw just the water, orange juice and apple juice trays being carried around."

Ingen direkt ursäkt och inte det minsta fundering om att erbjudas möjlighet att anskaffa någon vinter jacka. Inte bra."

It says you can do it cheaper on Lufthansa.com but I could not find where you can actually do that. All in all spend 30 minutes with no result. Had to pay at check in $44 instead of $27. And it was just one of many other problems and inconveniences with their website."
Plus: "In this day of continuous service cutbacks Lufthansa has managed to keep amenities that make long flights bearable. The boarding was early and efficient. Meals were decent and plentiful. Hot hand wipes were provided. Hundreds of video entertainment options and fairly friendly English speaking flight attendants. I recommend paying the small upcharge to choose seats with extra legroom. totally worth it on the long haul"

I usually fly SAS business class, and based on this experience with United, I will go straight back to SAS. They offer better service, better menu choices, and first class seating for the same price. Easy decision."

När man kommer till Paris från en annan destination, vad de kallar för transfer jag kallar stress och oro..! 45 mn mellan flygningar ..! Check point och förvirring i korridorerna och framför allt när du kommer hem är dina bagage sena eller borttappade ..! Helvete helt enkelt

Maten var som vanligt dåligt..! Annars besättningen och komforten var okej

Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

Plus: "Traveled fron SFO to CDG on AF in business class on an A 380. Lounge in SFO was smallish and not many choices in the food bar. Boarding was smooth. my second ride on A 380 in business and this trip reminded me quickly why I did not care for the A 380 on my previous trip. It is a huge plane with a huge sized business class which makes the cost less worth it compared to a Boeing. The crew were extremely helpful and caring. The food was acceptable. The seats on the plane were not comfortable in the lying position. Took a cab to our hotel in Paris (1st Arr) for a flat 50 euros. No meters."
Minus: "Arriving in CDG and facing a slow immigration with the passengers of this huge plane. I didn't care for the baggage delivery system. We were waiting for an hour only to realize that the arrival port for our luggage was changed."
