The location A 4 star Marriott hotel without room service? In San Francisco? Get your act together. What a dated American hospitality company. Will not stay there again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone
The value for the money is really good! It was clean, spacious, well decorated. We ensured to get two beds in the bedroom and we got them!
They tried to steal my luggage when I first came in, took them over 4 hours to bring my stuff up. I said enough of this bs and went to go down myself and get all my stuff to find it hiding in a room away from everyone else while the guy at the front was telling me "it'll be there shortly were a little backed up". Then to top it all off I find $35 of charges from the hotel of stuff I never used. I've never been so disrespected by a hotel in my life. Shady workers I highly recommend you don't stay here.
Location No swimming pool
The room was clean, the bed was amazing, location was walking distance to all things downtown, I felt safe with my young son, easy express checkout. No room service, for the money we spent I would've liked to see a free breakfast, the cost of parking is insane (it is SF though), no pool.
Really nice lobby, rooms where clean The wifi wasn't free, they charged you to use a computer for $.40 per minute. I really needed a workstation. No hot tube or pool for $400 per night. Will not go back.
Staff was not accommodating for what was promised. Staff was also rude.

Hotel was clean We booked a room for two night with a king size bed upon arrival we were not told they didn't have a room for us instead sent us to a room with double beds wouldn't accommodate us claiming they had "no more rooms available "... next day had issues relocating our luggage to next room. Parking was absurd $70 dollars a night ?? Overrated
We enjoyed the Marriott Marquis hotel very much , but the valet only parking is a bit spends. Thank goodness there is another parking garage one block over. Y

Av de tre hotell som vi bokat via Booking.com var Parc 55 Wyndham det dyraste och det sämsta! Hotellet har en stor outnyttjad potential. Vid incheckningen försökte personalen lura oss att ta ett sämre rum än vad vi bokat och fått bekräftat, mer än tre månader tidigare.Erbjudande var att byta rum efter första natten. Hotell personalen hade för mycket att göra vilket gjorde att vi inte fick checka in förrän flera timmar efter det som bekräftats, 17.00! Först när vi återkom fick vi bokat hotellrum på rätt våning. Business center med "all" utrustning hade bara två datorer kopplade till skrivarna, ståplats till hälften av datorerna, skanner saknades och inget papper i skrivarna! På de flesta hotell vi bott på under vår vistelse i USA har wifi varit gratis, det var därför förvånande att Parc 55 tar $ 12.95 för en medioker uppkoppling. En del skulle kalla det girigt!
Centralt läge mitt i shoppingdistriktet. Nära till spårvagn/buss och restauranger, vilket gjorde det enkelt att nå olika sevärdheter
Läget är utmärkt, sängen (King size) bekväm, och gymet var välutrustat jämfört med många hotellgym. Som på de flesta amerikanska hotell är frukosten extra och blir ganska dyr med dricks om man vill ha frukostbuffén. Internetuppkoppling ingår inte heller, och det var problem med att få internetuppkopplingen via WiFi att fungera. Lyckligtvis hade jag med mig lång ethernetkabel.
Underbar personal överallt på hotellet. Bra känsla för service. Dom hade sjabblat bort vårt rum när vi skulle checka in men utan tvekan blev vi uppgraderade till hörnsvit utan extra kostnad

Window view was loud but nice, room was clean and service was very good. Nice location. Jeffery was a great bartender showing professionalism with an intoxicated female needing assistance at the bar Urban tax fee is a shady charge that was not explained at check in, The fee is for bike rental and internet, yet the Wi fi was listed as free and you would be insane to ride a bike down the hills. I had to argue to get it removed.
Friendly staff, great location (walking distance to most attractions), comfy beds and updated overall. Needed spa after some gruelling walks (need to be fit to get around) or simply jump on cable cars outside hotel ;). Although We found city pricy, hotel food offerings were excessive to say the least (no room service either?)Management has to know within walking distance are some great options for meals that are easier on your wallet.
I liked the lady at check in helping resolve an issue with billing. Somehow, the hotel reservations people decided I should pay for an extra night when I had cancelled that night the previous week. The lady at check in was very helpful and was able to resolve the issue, but I was disappointed I had the issue in the first place. It was not clear to me why this happened. The room was nice - but quite expensive in my opinion.
The room was great and the bedding was fantastic. The staff was great, very helpful. Location was ideal. Since we were there during the renovation, there were no shops, etc. They had shampooed the carpet in the halls the day we arrived and there remained a wet rug smell throughout our stay.

The location is wonderful, the bed was good No one answered the valet parking phone three days in a row. No room service. A beer glass sat in the hallway for two days without being picked up. Kitschy "hipster" feel.
Location Mandatory "urban bundle fee" of $20+ per night, even if you don't use or want the services. Housekeeping was bad -- there was a half full highball glass in the hallway outside our room for our entire stay. When we arrived on a December evening the room temperature was set to 54 degrees with cold air blasting in. Overall not a friendly or welcoming environment, unfortunately.
Stanford Court hotel was in a terrific location. Cable car intersection right out the front door was super cool. The lobby and bar were upscale and clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a boutique hotel in San fransisco. The room size was a little small for the money, and you could hear everything from the hallway and surrounding rooms.
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, EVERYONE IN THE LOBBY WAS VERY HELPFUL AND KIND. HOTEL WAS CLEAN, AND PROVIDES A FRESH SMELL AS YOU WALK IN. I LOVED THE WATER BOTTLES TO GET PURIFIED WATER AS YOU WALK IN OR LEAVE.
While the yellow carpet in the halls is a bit dated and worn, the rest of the Stanford court is updated, quirky, and fun. The staff is great, and the location is only half a block from the top of nob hill. Great weekend escape.

The location was very convienent. I chose to park down the street and save $30 for over night parking. Nice pillows and comfy bed. This hotel is really small the room was giving me an allegric reactions I could not breath, until we forced the window open. The shower curtain and shower smelled really bad. That was gross. I will not be staying here again.
Superb location right in the heart of San Francisco's Union Square area, excellent restaurants and shopping nearby. Beautifully decorated room that was quiet and serene. Standard room king was quite small. No room for more than a couple.

The room and hallways where dark, the bathrooms are in bad shape (old and rusty), the tv was small and didn't have on demand. It used to be THE PLACE TO STAY in SF... Not anymore...needs a remodel urgently.

Our room on the 16th floor which had a great view was right next to the elevator motors. One or more of the elevator motors had bad bearings or a worn armature as there were a constant hum and winding sound similar to a low police siren. We could not move due to the Hotel being full.

The staff and location were both excellent, the bar is also fun (and the reason I knew about the hotel to begin with). There sure are a lot of interesting chairs around! Room service was prompt and the food was tasty. The bed is comfortable and the rooms have pretty good noise control. The rooms are in dire need of updating. We stayed in a studio so the size was good, but things just seemed old. The walls needed touch up paint, the bathtub was peeling (about a 10'' section was missing plaster), the grout was stained, the hair dryer must be from 1985, the thermostat is old making it hard to control room temperature, the faucet was probably really awesome 20 years ago, but now it is difficult to get it in the "off" position, not good in a state experiencing a drought.
The bed was very comfortable. The room was dark with the curtains pulled closed. I stayed at the Clift this past weekend with my wife for a "staycation" away from the Oakland grind we call our normal lives. A few concerns with the Clift Hotel. When we arrived we were unsure about how the valet worked since there are no signs or "red jackets" (they wear black). We had to circle the block and call to find out what the deal was. It's also expensive, $52+ tax per night. Once we were in the Hotel we were told that our room wasn't ready, which was completely fine since we arrived 3 hours prior to check in time. We happily checked our bag and went for a stroll around union square. The problem is that the woman at the counter said we should expect a phone call with in the hour when our room was ready. We waited the hour and then another hour. No call. We then returned to the Hotel at 3pm and were told by the same women that it "should be ready within the hour."This would take us up to check in time...Finally at 4pm we complained and a manager upgraded us to a Jr. Suite and promptly gave us the keys. Sales Training: under promise and over deliver, not the other way around. Finally we arrive in our room and its pretty nice. It was on the 15th floor and the view was pretty urban SF high life. We were happy. The tub and painted surfaces were chipping and sup par. apparently this room costs $450+ per night, If I paid that I expect a little more attention to detail and quality. We dined at the Velvet Room, the Hotel's restaurant. We were offered a cold and breezy table next to the hallway leading to the bar but were happily seated in a lovely booth when we requested that. Dinner was delicious. The Redwood Room, their high shelf bar, is always crowded and all seating is reserved for $350+ bottle service. The common areas are nice, warm, and cozy. The room is three star. The overall experience is ok, we'll try another place next month and report back.

Bedding, bed, pillows & nice bathroom. Was after hours & our request for room service was still met. Nothing.
Staff was good. Our lunch experience at the hotel was very nice because the staff went out of their way for our 13 year old who was celebrating a birthday. We had people overhead who made who disturbed us for well over an hour. After calling the front desk to complain it stopped about 30 minutes after our call.

Everyone from the valet attendant, bellman, and front desk was beyond helpful and attentive. Even on a stormy rainy SF day, they were warm and ever inviting to me. They got me a room on the 27th floor with an amazing view of union square during the holiday season. I highly recommend. Also, the bathroom had great lightening and everything was very clean. Location simply can't be topped. Parking is a choice of valet between $41 around the corner and $60 front door. Wifi is also now FREE. The mattress sheet wasn't fully tucked in but everything else made up for a minor oversight.

Lovely room with plenty of plugs for laptops, etc. Refrigerator and coffee maker. Room also had separate "dressing table" area AND a full bathroom; perfect for a couple! Parking rates absurd. Found a much cheaper garage on our own.
Very stylish, perfect location, hotel staff was very very helpful and courteous. Appreciated the free internet. Room lighting could have been better. Thermostat was a off and room was a bit chilly unless we used a high setting.
We should get a discount for the noise inconvenience.

We loved this hotel. The game room downstairs was a huge hit with the whole family. The location cannot be beat.
Very edgy and modern hotel design. Bed was extremely comfortable and the coffee was exquisite. Room was so tiny that I wouldn't recommend spending more than 2 nights there. It can feel a bit claustrophobic especially when you end up with a wonderful view of a brick wall.
Staff was extremely professional and super nice! The hotel was centrally located to everything and the room was really cool! Loved it!!
The location The staff wasn't very helpful at all. Requested to have our bags taken up to the room after a hour of waiting had to go back down and get my own bags.
The decor was cool and the game room was a great feature. The walls were EXTREMELY thin...we could hear people talking in the lobby below us, and could hear every word people spoke in the hallways. That's my only complaint.
The game room downstairs is fantastic. The rooms are mod in decor and the beds extremely comfortable. The staff is top notch. The place is just cool.
I loved the game room and all of the stylish touches to the room! The color schemes felt good and the staff was very pleasant. I did not like the elevator. Way too small. I also could smell a stinch throughout the hotel like old moth balls. Just being honest. Also, just my opinion, but I think the hotel should offer breakfast. While I do appreciate the espresso in the room (which was delicious), I'd rather have food; if I can't have both.

All of the fixtures (bed, shower tile, bathroom sink, desk, desk chair, lights, desks, etc) were top notch. Room had water damage down the corner and smelled bad. AC didn't work well. Lighting was very dim and had to turn on all lights to make it decently lit. Front desk didn't tell me about the amazing adult arcade that's in the back of the building.
A bit cramped but functional
Was very confusing to get around to our room (was in another building) and there were a few scuff marks here and there on the walls and also the remote control had a chip/crack in the back.
Nice rooms. Polite staff. Nice bathrooms. Everything worked without an issue. At Reservation, called the 800 number. I was told they only had two suites available. No rooms. Two minutes later, I went on Kayak and booked two rooms with no issue. Service was in no way exceptional. It was a little irritating that bell desk couldn't get cab. Food/bar is terrible Surcharge for internet access is ludicrous
Very friendly staff, great service. The access to Equinox is fabulous! Prime, prime location--the best!! In-room dining is awful. I had breakfast twice, and was severely disappointed at the outrageous price for the poor, poor quality of every aspect of the food--coffee is burnt and thick like mud, toast burnt, side vegetables unbelievably expensive with NO quality. The fresh orange juice is good. And that's it. Otherwise, the hotel is just wonderful.

We liked the location the most, right at the corner of Union square and a block away from Chinatown, the Hop on/Hop off bus had a few stops around Union square. The staff was always friendly, the fruit and water we received upon arrival and the turn down service every night are also nice touches. Housekeeping was attentive. Upon arrival our room didn't smell really fresh, but couldn't say it was dirty. The windows can be opened however, so you can let fresh air in. The closet space is really small, but we didn't mind taking the clothes out of our suitcases. We thought the room was quite small, but maybe that was because we just came from a hotel suite in Vegas. You could also hear all the street noise (windows closed) and the neighbours easily, it seems the walls are thin. When housekeeping knocked on the door of the room next to us, it sounded like they knocked on our door.
The hotel is very comfortable and the staff is top-notch. Even though the lobby is small that is insignificant since no one goes to a hotel to hang out in the lobby. The beds are very comfortable and the room is turned down every night.

I loved how the hotel is located in a convenient area; we easily jumped on a cable car to Fishermans Wharf. The staff was professional and helpful. This hotel is a true 5 star luxury hotel. nothing. It was fantastic!

Staff was considerate and helpful in every way. Food in the Nob Hill Club was excellent. Great views from Top of the Mark. Furniture in lobby needs cleaning or reupholstering. Looks dated. Bathroom was small and dark. I was there 5 days and one of the elevators was out of service for 3 of those days.
Room service was good, bed, pillows & frette Sheets were excellent. Dark bathroom, dated room in general...for the money I prefer the Fairmont.
Historic Great location Staff was super friendly and helpful especially the valet Noise level in the rooms. Windows do not block out the noise from the streets so you can hear Grace Cathedral bells and the cable cars which is great but also the loud drunks in the middle of the night as well.
Great place to stay if you want to be treated like royalty at a very reasonable price. We highly recommend staying here and also having drinks at the Top of the Mark. Excellent views of the "city by the bay" and the music and service is awesome! Do yourself a favor and stay here. We do every year for almost 20 years. You won't regret it!
Location is good, close to everything I booked this reservation months in advance for a large group, and still, upon check-in there was alot of miscommunication and confusion about the reservation (how many rooms, names on the reservation, etc). Staff was not warm or particularly helpful at all, there was an obvious lack of hospitably and willingness to help that you receive at most hotels. The hotel itself is average, its very old and outdated inside, the walls are thin so u hear conversations next door, and the rooms are small. There were very limited hours for the restaurant/lounge downstairs, and overall was just someolace you'd go to sleep and thats it. It really was just ok. Many other hotels in the area that offered more for the price. I wouldnt stay there again.
The location of this hotel is great with walking access to the waterfront, Union Square, cable cars, and public transport. The staff was excellent and very attentive. The room was everything we wanted, plus a great view. The restaurant had a good selection. The night club was really fun. We would definitely stay here again.
Nice people. This place would be great, but it need a renovation. It just looks like it hasn't been kept up in some time. Needs some fresh paint and some updates. It's in an area that not much is going on also
Comfortable room and good location. Noise level was fine despite being on the same street as the cable car. A bit run down in appearance and small old elevators. Poor customer service upon check. We were given a hard sale to sign up for hotel program upon arrival.
