Pakistan har öppnat sina flygplatser för internationella flygningar, med undantag för Gwadar (GWD) och Turbat (TUK). Från den 9 januari får alla som har ett pakistanskt pass, nationellt identitetskort för utomeuropeiska pakistanier (NICOP) eller innehavare av ett pakistanskt ursprungskort (POC) komma in i Pakistan. För ytterligare arrangemang vid ankomst, vänligen kontrollera Pakistans regeringsråd för att bekräfta behörighet. Resenärer som får resa in i Pakistan från Storbritannien och Sydafrika är tvungna att uppvisa ett negativt COVID-19-test som tagits inom 72 timmar före resans början. För information om detta och möjliga karantänperioder vid ankomst, se Pakistans regeringsråd.
Resenärer som reser in i Pakistan måste lämna kontaktinformation via PassTrack mobilappen eller ett webbaserat formulär, genomgå en säkerhetskontroll av en hälsotjänsteman, tillhandahålla ett intyg om negativt COVID-19 RT-PCR-test, fylla i ett hälsodeklarationsformulär vid ankomsten och genomgå termisk screening vid ankomsten. Från och med den 5 oktober måste alla internationella resenärer uppvisa bevis på ett negativt COVID-19 RT-PCR-test som gjorts inom 96 timmar innan tidpunkten för resan. Det finns dock en förteckning över länder som undantagits från det obligatoriska testet. Barn under 12 år och personer med funktionshinder är undantagna från kravet på ett Covid-19-test och spårningsappen, men måste fylla i ett hälsointyg vid ankomsten.
Resenärer som har några symtom på COVID-19 (inklusive feber, hosta och andningssvårigheter) kommer att tillåtas att fortsätta till sin destination men måste genomgå ett COVID- 19 test inom 48 timmar efter ankomst och lämna in resultatet av testet till myndigheterna. Om testet är positivt måste de isolera sig själva i enlighet med Pakistans riktlinjer. Internationella resenärer bör isolera sig i 10 dagar efter ankomsten (även de som är asymtomatiska vid ankomsten).

She had a little pouch with her name on it -- like a UM -- so someone knew something was not right when they put her on the flight. I bought drinks inside the terminal for this 14 hour flight but they were all confiscated at the additional security at the gate!! WTF"
Minus: "The aircraft was changed and passengers were required to check in their hand luggage, yet remove their electronics from their hand carry. In my case I had several electronic items which I had to carry onto the aircraft and store awkwardly which created a major risk of my camera and laptop being damaged in the process. This is not the kind of service I expect from Qatar Airways, especially considering the exorbitant ticket prices."

My flight schedules were changed few days before departure by Qatar Airways, but only thing I had to do was to confirm that I have noted, my seats and all the rest of details intact, excellent."

Plus: "This review is for return travel from ATL to MAA (Chennai, India) and back. Route: ATL-DOH: about 14.5 hrs; DOH-MAA: about 4.5 hrs; Likes: 1. Baggage check-in process was simple and easy. 2. Meal preferences was good - I'm a vegetarian and on the onward journey forgot to specify the meal preference but the crew had enough inventory to meat the requirements. 3. Every seat was provided with a small plastic pouch/packet/goodie bag that consisted of a eye mask (very thoughtful), pair of sock, toothpaste+brush (very thoughtful), hand cream. This was very useful and effective. 4. Entertainment - options were good and current."
Minus: "Dislikes: 1. Online check-in wasnt easy; towards the end of the process, there is an option to email the boarding pass but this never worked. Not sure if this is something to do with the browser (tried with Firefox, Opera) 2. It would have been good, as part of the online check-in, if the users reminded to specify the meal preferences, etc. I forgot to specify the meal preferences but thankfully the crew had enough of what I wanted. 3. Take a relook at the packaging of the toothpaste tube in the goodie bag. It was sealed in such a way that it was difficult to open it w/o a sharp object. This should have been easier. 4. Seats were the worst part - poor legroom. Worst, the seat cushion is the worst. I think it was just a fabric over a metal seat with minimalist of cushion. ATL to DOH leg was the worst (and the longest leg of the trip). Unless you have open seats next to you it would be a back breaking and painful trip. Seat comfort wise, I would rate Qatar as the worst. Luckily on the return leg (DOH-ATL) next two seats to mine was empty, so was able to stretch and sleep well. DOH-MAA or MAA-DOH seating was little better (think its a older plane; newer planes have worst seats) 5. The website was damn slow while accessing from overseas. Even in the US, at times the website hangs-up, freezes or spins often. 6. Food was ok -dinner and lunch but minimalistic; I didnt see any specific breakfast menu or any coffee served separately (was part of beverage option during lunch or dinner) 7. There was no alert, communication, notification, reminder of upcoming trip via email or text, etc. Many airlines does this very often but Qatar was totally silent on it (they did have my email during checkin). Not sure why."

Sirs, if you really will only take this complaint as just to watch and say that this was a company policy then i will definetly never choose your services either again.Also, from the bottom of my heart, i will never feel tired to share and spead around this nasty experience of mine on each and every social media occasion , when i will have a word to say. Within only one flight on that day ,the total buggage revenue of the company was equal to a sum of 23,000 £ in total, despite the plane was ridiculously abit bigger than a small box. But this airline is beyond atrocious to say the least. There is no terminal exit, but rather we had to walk down steps from the plane, walk in the rain to a stand-up bus, and ride it to the airport. How on earth are you supposed to make close connecting flights with those conditions? We barely made it only because they let us skip the line for security. Save yourself the misery; dig deeper in your pocket for a better airline."
