Plus: "Even though we were in the very back row, we did not experience a foul smell from the restrooms. This was a very nice relief. It is bad enough that the seats don't recline and there is no window in the very back row but prior experience with the added nausea of foul restroom order has been a serious insult to injury. In this case there was really minimal odor. Also since we are traveling as a family we are very happy that we were seated together. We have experienced the past that sometimes our seats will be fragmented and that creates major challenges when you are traveling with young children. However on this particular flight the ride was rough during both takeoff and landing, a lot of side to side shimmy. Also the cabin pressure varied quite a bit during landing causing all the kids to complain about some discomfort in their ears."

Delta did not permit re-booking to flights that left JFK for Boston earlier, even tho there seats available, instead insisting that we had to wait for our assigned flight. Small snacks (regular Coke, no Diet) did not really compensate well."

Plus: "It was my husband's birthday and the stewardess (red dress, long brown hair) went out of her way to make him feel special by bringing champagne, cookies and even chocolate once we were getting off the plane. I was very touched."

In "biz class" you still had to rub elbows with your neighbor, something other airlines with newer planes have sorted out, but allowing extra space between seats.... but overall, for a short flight (not much longer than an average subway commute in NYC), it really was not a huge deal...."

We waited in the line for a long time for someone to come and help us. overall they were not very apologetic regarding the fact that I was stuck there overnight. It took soooo long to get to the hotel. I arrived there well after midnight. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY FLIGHTS ARE BOOKED SO CLOSE TOGETHER. NO LAYOVER TIME IN BETWEEN MEANS MISSED CONNECTIONS! THIS HAPPENED BOTH WAYS ON MY TRIP. VERY ANNOYING"

( The pizza was good the muffin was processed gross. ) I didn't eat all the items and still felt yucky from poor nutrition. A piece of fruit in place of muffin, dessert, crackers would help a lot."

Minus: "Nonchalant crew on the way back, I asked if they had any snacks half way into the flight as I didn't eat dinner, I went to the galley and the head of customer service heard my request, looked at me and just carried on reading his paper leaving a flight attendant to offer me a small bag of pretzels , which she had to search for. Very poor"

Minus: "The crew at Barcelona Airport, especially "Javier" (he refused to give his last name or show his badge - he had it turned around) was very rude and unhelpful. We had to go to another desk person to help us who was a bit more polite. The Finnair Customer Service telephone service was completely unhelpful even though this was booked as a Finnair Flight. The crew on board was ok, at best. The food was the poorest we had in both flights we took (we travelled from Barcelona to JFK, New York, and from JFK to YVR, Vancouver). We were most pleased with our flight from New York to Vancouver, with Cathay Pacific, who, by comparison, had very helpful and pleasant staff both at the JFK Airport and on board."

I then called British airways to do so and after 15 min of the agent trying to get seats, she told me that there was a shutdown and no passengers were able to do so and everyone had to book seats at airport. When I got to Heathrow, the agent told me that was not true and everyone was able to book online.. Misleading!"

Sleeping is already hard on a plane, and this made it way worse...not to mention my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me the whole time."

Minus: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. Without that tickets we can not claim the bags. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Minus: "Awoke to find ill man laying on floor in aisle next to me with oxygen. Shortly after... Passenger in seat near man on floor (diabetic but no one tells us anything) needs to lay across four seats with oxygen for heart issues for remainder of trip with staff and doctor on board nearby. Nevdr informed what was happening, never offered to move our seats or move iIl passengers. Glad all turned out ok. Could have given them more privacy and better informed other passengers."

Needless to say, I wont be booking with Air France again."

Minus: "too many flights landed at KEF at one time. the iceland customs could not handle all the flights at one time. it seems like the idea/plan to make iceland a primary stopover location was done without determining how many flights could descend on the terminal at one time. i was in a line that was almost all the way down the terminal. we truly were processed quickly - but it gave many around us a lot of stress over thinking they would miss their connecting flights. since i had done this before and the exact same thing happened (too many to process in too short a period of time) i reassured the people around us that icelandair holds the connecting flights until all people were processed. it gives a bad look to iceland and icelandair and i am sure could be remedied by changing some arrival/departure times. again, the idea of having iceland be a primary stopover to put them 'on the map' and glean the revenue from the potential travel is excellent, great marketing strategy - but is iceland air shooting them in the foot if they have implemented this plan without the infrastructure - please pass along to iceland- a country i really loved when i visited before this marketing plan!"
