Find a private space to talk with sick people because some people might not be comfortable to talk in front of every one."

Minus: "I understand that an airline can’t control the weather, but they can be prepared for it. We arrived hours late and found chaos. Conflicting information from staff. Lines lasting HOURS, verging on mob behavior, some passengers shouting and crying. One very good agent got us into civilized lines, but it was still awful. Later that night, we found our second flight HAD taken off, despite every single airline and airport staffer insisting that all flights were cancelled. We could have been home for New Year’s Eve instead of stuck in an airport. The next day, we still got mixed signals about how to check in. Then we found we had been given seats rows apart, despite being one booking. To be honest, we haven’t even taken this flight yet. Our rebooked flight on the following day is hours late and we’re waiting for it now. But I already know enough to post that I will never fly Turkish Airlines again."

It’s like ANA run by native New Yorkers - newish planes, really good food (including chefs running around in white uniforms with the tall hats!), solid in-flight entertainment, and no nickel-and-diming on drinks, but the staff can be cold. I would definitely fly again, especially if the alternatives are United or American."
Minus: "Turkish Airlines' hub airport, Ataturk International in Istanbul, is a chaotic, surly mess. Part of this relates to the fact that it is simply too small for the volume of traffic it handles, but I also believe airport management deserves some blame. Problems include: * Most arriving Turkish Airlines flights empty out on the tarmac, and then you are bussed to the terminal, adding at least 20 minutes to the process. Some departing flights to North America also require bussing from a distant gate. * Rescreening is inconsistent - once it was some guy standing by a door giving a cursory glance to passports of transfer passengers. Another time, hundreds of people going through a full laptops-out-of-bags-take-off-your-belts xray procedure. * Signage is terrible. Arrows pointing where to go are insufficient (such as exiting the international terminal from the transfer area) and most gates do not automatically show the next flight scheduled to depart. * Gates are shown on the main displays only 2 hours in advance max, and even then seem to change — I saw several people miss their flights for this reason. * Not enough toilets in the terminal and lounges. * Airport staff and concessions workers are surly. I would like to stress that Turkish Airlines (the dominant carrier at Ataturk) is actually pretty good when it comes to the flights themselves. But the airport experience really brings down the brand, in my opinion. My advice to those who have a long layover: Spend $25-$40 dollars to hang out in one of the paid lounges, which have more space, free food, Wi-Fi, etc. You need an oasis in a place like Ataturk."

Please keep in mind that the best flight experience for your passengers involves no babies on a plane, and work towards this goal. Especially 10 hour flights. The food and drink on Turkish Air are usually excellent. We had one meal that was only rice and peppers.. I was unusually disappointed."

The crew seemed to be serving just white people. There was an attitude problem with almost all the staff. The crew needs an urgent lesson in hospitality. Food: Our menu options were some chicken and beef items. The crew served me some food without telling me what it was. As I was about to eat I realized that i was about to eat beef. I am a Hindu, I don't eat beef. I wasn't upset the crew served me beef. I am upset with what happened next. When I called her back to tell her I don't eat beef her response was "We don't have anything else " and she moved on. She never offered/served anything else. Not even a sandwich. And I was left hungry for the rest of my 10 hour flight. The 2nd meal that was served was vegetarian I assume buy I wasn't sure because the crew never told me. For most parts I was not offered anything to drink and I had to ask the crew for drinks. I travel internationally from the US every month. I go to India at least 4 times a year. However I have never been this badly treated by any airlines.Turkish airlines staff are racist which is really insane considering they are running international flights. If you don't want to serve Indians and other non-whites you should not operate out of these countries. We have plenty of other options. This was my first time travelling Turkish Airlines and there is no doubt in my mind that it will be the last."

Plus: "We had 35 minutes from landing in MSP to takeoff for BOS. We came in on gate C20 and our departure was for C5. The gate person could not confirm the gate so we hailed a vehicle to take us. The driver added 2 more to our cart which slow us down appreciably. We got to the gate and they hadn't started boarding. My wife went to the Ladies Room and I walked over to the desk. The boarding flight was going to LA!! Our flight was going out C11! I had to ask a woman to go into the restroom and yell for my wife to get moving! We made it but I don't know how. Typical Delta!!!!"

Minus: "The seat on this 737-800 was uncomfortably narrow. This was likely due to the table-tray being in the seat armrest. I had to remove everything from my side pants pockets and even then was not particularly comfortable. This is particularly annoying because I usually avoid this by flying comfort plus. However, on this itinerary, Delta would not allow me to give them money for Comfort plus, because it was a domestic leg on an itinerary including stops in Asia. Such a baffling policy!?!?"

Minus: "After a grueling 14 hour flight back to the states from Asia, got notification that my Delta flight was further delayed an additional 3.5 hrs from the layover of 2hrs, so I was at the airport for a good part of the day and did not get home till midnight. Altogether 24+ hrs of no real sleep. To add insult to injury, a Delta representative called and apologized, offering a $100 voucher or gift certificate. Raised expectation that they might actually do the right thing. I then received a Delta email that says "Your day just got better", except there was nothing but ads and enter to bid for things. Overall bad experience when I really needed them to get me home on time."

Put on a flight with overnight in LGA, but they could not tell us if a voucher would be provided. Usual story since the govt does not mandate the airlines do better. Was not advised to try standby on other later flights, which worked. Finally landing in BOS, we sat for 45+ min waiting for a third person to flag the plan to the gate. Understand why, but really annoying after such a long day full of delays. Felt many areas could have been handled better. Each person individually tried, but in aggregate it was a mess."

Ingen direkt ursäkt och inte det minsta fundering om att erbjudas möjlighet att anskaffa någon vinter jacka. Inte bra."

It says you can do it cheaper on Lufthansa.com but I could not find where you can actually do that. All in all spend 30 minutes with no result. Had to pay at check in $44 instead of $27. And it was just one of many other problems and inconveniences with their website."

Minus: "For the first time in decades (hundreds of flights), I've had to find the paper bag and until the very end I thought I might end up needing it. My companion did use hers, and mine (also a first in many decades). Part of the bumpiness could have been due to a weather system but the plane's movement was jerky when taxiing in Boston. BOS-MUC used to be one of my favorite routes back when it was served by the A360. The new A350 is nothing special except for the entertainment system. Ironically the large screen seemed overwhelming due to the dismal distance to the seat in front."
Minus: "i could bring checked baggage from Bos-fra, fra-cdg, cdg-fra but it was taken from me on fra-bos flight as being too big! bag came out very late on baggage claim food was poor, they ran out of food, it was served late in my section and there was no choice left. one option only which i could not eat."

I was too hot the whole flight..I think it's the design of the ventilation system on this particular plane. The person by the sunny window stifles. Food was about as bad as it can get. Then I was offered coffee and got tea. Crew never smiled. My headphone had a loose wire so the sound went in and out. Not like past Lufthansa flights."

Lufthansa has been my favorite airline for years but I am sad to see that with every new plane they get, the seats and leg rooms get smaller and smaller, ignoring the fact that 4 people have to sit there for 8 hours, elbows and legs touching with no wiggle room. Will not take Boeing 747-400 again."

Nice to get wine, or maybe beer(?), with dinner at no extra charge, served from regular wine bottles, not individual-serving containers."

Thank you for providing both a blanket and pillow - which its own Lufthansa pillow cover. Sadly the Anticipation of a Lufthansa flight still rests on the laurels of years of recognized quality. Sadly the Anticipation was greater than the rewards."
Minus: "It is always so much easier to come up with the issues - wish I had more to add on the previous section. ENTERTAINMENT. Headphones provided required a two-prong jack option. There was only room for one prong - so only one ear had sound. The sound perhaps due to this limitation was poor and I couldn't hear the track. Consequently I choose one film with subtitles - which was helpful. The cabin comfort overall was on the chilly side and required the use of the blanket for the whole trip. Meals - the dinner meal served was a nice selection. However, the dessert was still cold - affected flavor. I think a nice bar of chocolate would have been equally welcome as dessert option. There was a small Ritter - which was nice. Lunch or pre arrival snack - really a poor excuse for what was served as pizza. Very doughy and little filling. The tomato was ok but the other selection served - was not a good choice. Not sure what it was. Also had anticipated a warm cloth before landing as a refresher. The seating is incredibly narrow. While most planes are forced into less space, this ride was particularly uncomfortable. I know that there are different model planes each with its own space limitations, advantages or disadvantages, but - frankly, I had expected better from Lufthansa. Finally, by chance having flown to Europe by Swiss Air - I reluctantly have to say that their comfort level, meals and refreshing cloth made it a more comfortable flight."
Minus: "Lufthansa's customer service is terrible. The service agent who rebooked my flight said flight was FULL when there were several seats open. The lady charged me an exorbitant amount saying that the "flight was overbooked". I am NEVER flying Lufthansa again. In addition, I am spreading the word to family and friends who use Lufthansa to use another air carrier."

The crew were terrific, seats could have reclined a bit more, but there was great leg room, and I did not feel squeezed in. Altogether, terrific!"

This wouldn't be a big deal on a short domestic flight, but for an international flight it was a long time to be uncomfortable!"

The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

Plus: "Planes are newish and comfortable. Decent amount of room in economy. Very good entertainment system with a not of great Nordic content (Swedish, Danish and Norwegian movies) Food was pretty good for an airplane. The service is excellent. I slept through the meal service, but they still made it a point to get me a meal when I woke up. Old fashioned tea and coffee service, with a steward going up and down the aisles with proper tea and coffee pots. Very professional, a high end feel to everything."

So on the flight I was given two options of fish or mexican beef. Mexican beef meant slow cooked beef in a salty brown sauce with 2 kidney beans. Yes 2 kidney beans. With potatoes carrots and broccoli. Entertainment was pretty lacking. Not a lot of options. Also it was freezing the entire flight."

Minus: "My flight was cancelled and no one notified me! Instead, FlyUs.com placed me on a different SAS flight that had a 15 minute layover in Copenhagen. Needless to say, I would have missed the flight from Copenhagen. I realized the issue the day-of, spent hours on the phone trying to book a different flight through the customer services at FlyUs.com (stupid company!), and was finally rebooked by SAS on a different airline. When I called SAS directly, they immediately took care of the situation and handled it well, but I wasted an entire day dealing with FlyUs.com, waiting on confirmation for a flight that I was never going to receive. The whole experience was awful."

They even gave him a couple of toys to play with. Food was just ok, but better than most airline meals I've had. We flew Premium Economy which was a comfortable experience as well."

Also, I liked that there was a bottle of water on each seat for people to hydrate. Very important, and I haven't seen any other airline do it."

Minus: "We were unaware of the need to buy an infant ticket on international flights. When we checked in to our SAS flight in Newark, we were given a boarding pass for our infant without any heads up about the issue. We also got help with ordering bassinet from the gate agent, all without anything surfaced. It wasn't until we were boarding that we learned that we needed to buy a ticket and pay $400+ and nearly didn't make the flight. Can someone follow up now, as we need to make sure this issue has now been resolved for our return flight to SFO on Thursday July 6th"

Minus: "No entertainment or any special difference between business and coach except you get a meal. Seats are the same as economy and the bathrooms are shared. Why bother paying extra?"
Minus: "Although it was entirely SAS's fault that I missed my connection in CPH, they refused to reroute me on another carrier. They routed me on another SAS flight to ORD, and from there back to BOS. Hence my arrival was delayed from 3.20 PM to 12.130 AM after midnight."
