Minus: "The servicing crew in the business cabin was inexperienced and unrefined. The flight attendants seemed to just want to “get it over with” with questions like “are you done?” The attendants wanted to take our drink order as soon as we got in without giving us a chance to settle into our seats and kept hovering over us until I had to ask her to give us a couple of minutes. The airline did not stock enough snack and ran out mid flight. We had to wait for the next meal service which was not fun. I ended up getting a sweet drink just to get by. Internet, which was paid, was so slow that I got tired of watching it trying to load the pages and gave up. Eventually, the connection completely stalled even though I still had over an hour remaining of the 4 hour package. I used maybe an hour of the total purchase. Total waste because I couldn’t get any work done. Overall, I did not think this was an experience worth a business class ticket."

I wanted to check in online but I had to no reservation or ticket number is provided so I had to go to my old reservations to find it. .Next I wanted to pay for my luggage online but there was no link given. It says you can do it cheaper on Lufthansa.com but I could not find where you can actually do that. All in all spend 30 minutes with no result. Had to pay at check in $44 instead of $27. And it was just one of many other problems and inconveniences with their website."

Minus: "The crew didn’t bother to confirm who had requested the special meals, and they perhaps were confused by the size of the wide body rows, so they served my dinner to the passenger in the window seat (seat K) instead of me (seat H) By the time I realized what had happened, my row mate had eaten half the meal. The crew also rammed my knee with a beverage cart while I was dozing. Not the best showing ever..."

Lufthansa should have anticipated this mass of people and had appropriate passport checkers there from that company. "Not our fault" does not cut it. Two planes 600 people each landed at same time. I'd guess a quarter missed connection. The process of rescheduling was a comedy of lies and inefficiency and lack of concern. Worst air travel experience ever. Ruined first two days of my vacation. Oh yea forgot the worst. No air conditioner running on runway at Houston at three in afternoon. Passengers visibly sweating before a nine out overseas flight. Blamed it on a mistake."

Minus: "There was no update on the status of our connecting flight. The pilot gave an update of other flights except for ours but it caused a bit of confusion. Some people even had to missed there flights altogether! Lufthansa, from the 4 times I have flown with them always seems to be late with no sense of urgency. Ultimately after arriving in Venice, I get an email that my bags did not make it, yet I was told by the boarding agent that the plane was still loading our bags."

The bureaucrats in Reservations have to approve, which they are disinclined to do. I wanted an earlier flight which had space and was told if would be £400 (for a one-way, one hour flight to Luxembourg from London. And that was only IF the almighty Reservations people decided to do it. LuxAir has completely disempowered it’s staff in the airports (the ones who have ALL of the customer contact). I’m going to fly BA from now on."

I detest their “charge for everything” approach, but tickets can be 90% cheaper (less than £60 return), and I’m going to be making this trip weekly."

They were welcoming and efficient, and seemed glad to both see us arrive and happy to with us a safe departure. Luggage arrived at the same time we entered the baggage claim area, probably because of the passenger delay on board the flight for hand baggage to be offloaded."
Minus: "Boarding took a LONG time, relative to other airlines. The gate agent had to enter each seat assignment into the computer as he checked our boarding passes -- he had no way to scan and automatically record each passenger's arrival. First class passengers universally arrived later than the rest of us -- with one gate agent, economy class passengers frequently stopped and waited until the agent verified the first-class passengers' phone-based boarding passes against their passports and entered their seats into the computer. The flight was rough. We spent 5-8 minutes taxiing from our tarmac "gate" to the air strip -- and it was a very rough, bumpy, uncomfortable ride. The landing was atrocious. The weather was apparently calm, and there were no apparent crosswinds; we landed hard, and both bounced and shook. The aircraft (Bombadier Q400), a turbo-prop, was roomy enough for us -- we're average-height people who aren't very big -- I saw taller people scraping the overhead (ceiling) when they stood in the passageway/aisle. I've ridden in much smoother turbo-props in the past. We had to wait an extra 5 minutes on the ground so that hand-carried luggage could be off-loaded before passengers. We had no "checked" hand-luggage, so it felt like a nonessential delay for us. We aren't terribly upset with Luxair, as this was a "local" commuter flight -- we won't be traveling on this aircraft again if we can help it."

Minus: "I fly Luxair a lot. They pretty much do what it says on the tin: fly you from A to B, on time, almost always with your luggage. But there's no pleasure in it. Boarding is by bus, onto small noisy airplanes. Surly ground staff take away bags at the aircraft steps unless they're very small hand bags. The crew are usually pretty nice, and they do serve drinks and a sandwich"

Minus: "Ayant fait le check in online pour un vol GVA-LUX la veille, l'ordinateur m'avait attribué la place 4A. À lembarquement on mappelle pour me dire quon mavait attribué une autre place, la 18C. Je voyage toujours côté hublot, jamais couloir. lorsque je demandai pourquoi on m'avait changé de place la préposée me dit, sèchement , que l'avion devait être équilibré car tout me monde "était assis à l'avant. Insatisfaite de sa réponse, je lui dit que le systeme m'avait attribué cette place et que je ne voulais pas être à l'arrière de l'appareil . Peut lui importait puisque de toute façon elle me remit mon billet avec le 4A biffé et remplacé par 18C au stylo, en me disant que je pourrais changer de place apres le décollage. Or il sest trouve que ma place initiale, 4A avait simplement ete réatribuée a une autre passager! J'étais furieuse de m'être fait mentir de façon aussi effrontée, car de toute évidence la préposée à l'embarquement savait très bien la vraie raison de cette réaffectation a un nouveau siege. J'organise des concerts et jai souvent à acheter des billets pour des musiciens qui viennent au Luxembourg. Je n'ai franchement plus l'envie , après m'être fait prendre pour une idiote, de les faire voler sur luxair."

Minus: "Didn't allow my carry on. Said too big. Same bag was on earlier connecting flight on much smaller plane. Also on flight on Southwest week prior. But larger intercontinental flight wouldn't allow it."

Plus: "It was so easy to board and I had no inconvenience. It took 4 minutes from when I said goodbye to my family till when I was at the front of the gate."
Minus: "Nothing! It was all great!"

Minus: "Our flight was canceled from Amsterdam to Bordeaux and did not receive any direction and had to find alternate flights for ourselves with the personal expense of using our own cell phones. Then our luggage lost for 3 days. Not happy!"

Plus: "The flight was delayed due to fog, but the staff was amazingly helpful to make sure everyone got to their destination."

Minus: "Gillar inte att man inte fick ta med sig kabinväska där jag hade datorn och annat värdefullt och ingen information om detta innan så man hade kunnat ta ut grejer ur väskan. Trångt på sittplatsen, helt enkelt ett skruttig flygplan"

Minus: "I’m not sure that short-hop flights should serve solid food. The quality invariably disappoints. Otherwise, all is good with this flight."

Plus: "The food was pretty good and the staff were friendly. During our transfer in Paris, my mum had a medical emergency and had to go to the medical centre. As such wr couldnt go to our final destination in Morocco and had to get our luggage off the plane. The staff at the AF counter were very helpful in that aspect. And when one of the luggages was completely damaged, it was replaced it with a brand new one which was fantastic. On the way back, we had some issues with the ticket because we didnt go to Morocco as planned which resulted in some trouble checking in. But the staff at the counter were quite helpful."

Plus: "Traveled fron SFO to CDG on AF in business class on an A 380. Lounge in SFO was smallish and not many choices in the food bar. Boarding was smooth. my second ride on A 380 in business and this trip reminded me quickly why I did not care for the A 380 on my previous trip. It is a huge plane with a huge sized business class which makes the cost less worth it compared to a Boeing. The crew were extremely helpful and caring. The food was acceptable. The seats on the plane were not comfortable in the lying position. Took a cab to our hotel in Paris (1st Arr) for a flat 50 euros. No meters."
Minus: "Arriving in CDG and facing a slow immigration with the passengers of this huge plane. I didn't care for the baggage delivery system. We were waiting for an hour only to realize that the arrival port for our luggage was changed."

Plus: "The flight crew and flights itself were great."
Minus: "I was told the wrong flight time, wrong terminal, wrong gate, and wrong airline. I couldn't check-in online. It was horribly inconvenient and I nearly missed the flight. We got there with 5 minutes until the doors closed."

Plus: "Seats were comfortable, but the sliding action, instead of recline, took getting used to. Food was very good. Snacks available on demand, along with drinks. Complimentary wine with meal was also quite good. Entertainment system was first rate with plenty of options for TV. movies, music, games, etc..."
Minus: "Sitting in the middle two seats in the center of the 777 left me stuck for most of the flight. Got up only once. Wife's feet and ankles were swollen by the end of the flight. Not enough legroom to move much during the flight and not enough aisle space to get around with the plane so full. Have made flights twice as long on the 747 and were able to get up and walk."

Plus: "I like that they still feed you and provide alcohol for free, even on a 40 min flight (unlike BA)."
Minus: "At one point during the flight I took a video out of my window with my camera, a member of the cabin crew barked at me in French. In bewilderment I asked her in English to repeat herself and she sarcastically repeated what she had said, in French, I asked for her to speak in English (which she had done to me previously on this Paris to London flight) yet again she scolded me in French. I was left absolutely none the wiser and it left a bad taste in my mouth."

Plus: "Excellent choice of movies. Great service. Friendly crew."
Minus: "I requested a lacto-ovo vegetarian meal, which I received. However, it appears the meal was also vegan. Normally, that would be okay except one of the two standard meal choices was also vegetarian and seemed much better. Since I had selected lacto-ovo vegetarian, it seems I was not allowed to select the standard vegetarian option. Hard not to have cheese on an Air France flight - just saying :-)"

Plus: "Boeing 777 had a lot of space. Good legroom. Timely departure and arrival, hassle free, safe trip all the way. Enjoyed the red wine; very delicious!"
Minus: "Seat didn't recline. The entertainment unit was very difficult to dislodge and raise to use (We were in the front). Movies were kind of older ones but I had reading to do so entertainment wasn't that important."

Plus: "Boarded 45 minutes late, and then sat in the plane for another two hours before take off due to a problem with the lie computer. Would have been better to spend that time in the terminal and given credits to buy food, etc. My seat was a regular seat (non exit) and the seat did not recline properly, the USB drive was broken, overall the plane felt unmaintained. The crew was friendly and food was good but I felt not enough was done to accommodate the extra hours we had to wait on the plane."
