Just too many issues in Puerto Plata and Montego Bay. It was too many delays and took way longer than normal. Not happy at all with the experience after a long day of flying.

As a result I had to bother the flight crew over 10 times to refill my small glass...a huge inconvenience for both of us. The other inconvenience (one I have not experienced in over 5-6 years) was the the headphone jacks were the old fashioned kind...meaning you could not use your own, and the buds given by the airline were very uncomfortable."

No food on international flight. You get a small pita bread and in it a small portion of scrambled egg if you fly morning or a small cheese toast if it’s dinner time.
My mother asked for a cup of water and a flight attendant told her she forgot to say please. Extremely unprofessional. The crew was not patient or responsive. Not happy with their service.

This was a code share operated by United with a 787. Don't care for the herringbone 2-2-2 seating in business, many other carriers have gone to a 1-2-1 which is better. Food wasn't much better than economy but what really counts is lie flat seats.

A significant number of us had SSSS on our boarding passes which required us to go through a second, more thorough, TSA security procedure. We had to remove shoes, take electronics including phones from cases, have purse contents gone through by personnel, be screened for residue, etc. Due to this process and the fact that we were not advised to stand in the line, a number of passengers went through the second security check at the last minute which caused our takeoff to be delayed. The pilot made up the time during the flight. I ordered low sodium meal which ended up to be the same food at both meals which was a disappointment - pasta with tomato, eggplant sauce."

As for the food, the chicken "wrap" was not a wrap, and was a weird Hot-Pocket type meal. After each meal, we ended up having to hold our garbage for quite some time which made manuvering in and out of seats a little tricky. I wish the seat cushion had a little more cushion since we were sitting for so long. Also at some point the overhead lights came on and stayed on, which was annoying if you were trying to nap."

Minus: "Lack of any real help with lost luggage. Man on the phone in Brussel asked for File complaint numbers and found nothing. Absolutely no information whatsoever. He gave us a number to call in Florence, which was automated. File number was requested but not found. For all we know our luggage may have been thrown away. Completely unacceptable. Never ever use Brussels Airline."

On the long haul to/from Europe, the seats in coach did not have any type of individual air flow control above the seat. I was sitting by a window which must have been directly facing the sun. I have never been so hot and uncomfortable on a plane. Some kind of air conditioning did kick on for a short duration, but it was not enough."
Minus: "I bought my flight 2 months before, and at the gate I was told I'm on stand by, after the check in agent already took my bag, and without any explanation. No one could tell me WHY I was all of a suddent on standby. The answer I got was "I don't know, that's just how it is in the system". Completely unacceptable and against airline policy. I will be filing an official complaint with Brussels Airlines."

Not all, but I have come to expect the worst from United (I fly 5-6 trips a year with UA, 5-6 trips with other Star Alliance airlines). Food in Economy Plus was mediocre at best, it seems United are catering this from a correctional facility. Overall good experience due to the staff, but nothing that wow'ed us beyond being better than what we have come to expect from United."

Minus: "Was a bit surprised about the limited size of the carryon. One just barely missed fitting in to the box that checks the size. When we got on the plane, it would have easily fit. Not so happy about having to spend another 45 euros for the bag. But on a positive note, I did get a text that the bags was going to be on Belt 3 which was nice. And it was in English too."
Minus: "I paid 80 euro more just to be able to take an extra 6 kilo for a total of 46 ( the total i left with on the flight to Europe from miami for two bags). Yet when i was over about 1.6 kilos ( had bought a sweater and some other gifts in rome ) i was forced to remove it or pay even more money. So it turns out these "cheap flights" always have a catch to them. Be aware for these little tricks."

Now I understand why there was so much carry- on luggage! And that took soooooooo much longer to board and exit the plane. No entertainment. Small seats. Sorry, Easy Jet, but never again."

Minus: "No boarding gate was printed on our tickets. No boarding gate was displayed on the airport screens. We arrived to CDG 2 hours early. But the airline closed boarding a half hour before the flight time on the ticket. We and others were then not allowed on the flight despite the fact that screens at the gate still said "boarding". When we tried to reschedule the Easy Jet information desk quoted us prices significantly higher than those we found online on our phones at the same time. We had to buy all new tickets spend the entire day in the airport and were fined by our hotel for late check in. Huge loss of money and waste of time. AVOID THIS AIRLINE!"
Minus: "They made us pay 47 dollars to check our bags but when we got in the plane other people had the same size bags in the plane. We weren't told we didn't had to check them in."

We were left for more than 30 minutes in this state with the doors shut and the windows largely inoperable. Casually cruel and inhuman. Never fly easy jet again."
