Plus: "Best food and attention that I've had on an airline in 20 years. Really. I was telling a friend today, Swiss Air started with drinks, gave us a Parisian baguette sandwich, gave us a healthy breakfast of yoghurt warm croissant butter jam orange juice, drinks again, and several passengers surrounding me got special attention, one woman with a baby, a disabled person, and a teenager that was 6'5" was relaocated by the flight attendant without him even asking to a bulkhead seat for more comfort. You don't see this kind a attention to detail on any US flights or US airlines, so I noticed it. It was as if I was traveling back in the 70's or 80's when Airlines would compete for our dollars with their service. I mentioned to my friend that if I had a choice and Swiss Air was one of the choices, I'd choose Swiss Air over any other airline."

Plus: "We had two flights with Swiss and the first one left half an hour late, meaning we only had about 10 minutes to connect to the next one. Instead of sprinting through the airport, a man was waiting for us immediately outside the plane. He got our luggage right from the cargo, drove us to another man who stamped our passports, and then drove us to the plan just in time for takeoff. It was incredible service and everyone was super friendly. We so appreciated them making sure we caught our connecting flight!"

Minus: "I am not unusually large but it is clear that the seats on your planes are completely inadequate for anyone other than a child. There is no possible way for anyone who isn't seriously sedated to sleep or even sit for any extended period of time in what amount to slightly cushioned coffins. I literally spent an hour in the toilet trying to fall asleep because at least in there I had room to extend my legs. At least in there I could actually breathe (the ventilation system is totally inadequate for anyone sitting near the windows and results in horribly stuffy and uncomfortable air.)"
Plus: "Business class was full so I could not get an upgrade. There were only 4 lavatories for economy. One of those was broken and there was no water in any of the 3 remaining ones. The crew had no water either and they could not make tea or coffee."

Worse quality beef on a flight ever, and that's hard to do. In my 1.5 million miles flown, these were the least comfortable, cramped seats I have ever experienced. I am only 5'7", 150lbs, but for the first time ever could not reach my belongings in the under-the-seat space in front of me. Seriously, it was that cramped."

Sen fick vi vänta ytterligare 1 timme ombord i värmen helt ohyggligt när folk börjar oroa sig för konsekvenserna etc det var ju uppenbart ingen skulle komma ut amma kväll (efter midnatt). När väl ute fanns bara 1 service desk till hela planet, jag kunde åka hem och sova och skita i vouchers men de som behövde hotell lär ha väntat halva natten. Det enda som var ok var att de svarade snabbt på telefon följande morgon - men meddelade inte som man sagt den nya bokningen via sms eller mail!"

Passengers were divided in 5 lanes, depending on their seating area withing the plane (for a more efficient boarding, I presume) but, by the time we all got to the actual aircraft, we formed another queue in the boarding bridge so it didn't feel like any time was saved or anything."

As a result we had to wait until all the passengers got off the plane to get back our luggage and we were the last two passengers to get off. Unpleasant!"

Minus: "As I was flying from London Heathrow back to Vienna, I had a carry-on that was allowed on my flight with Austrian from Vienna to London. My carry-on weighed 8 kg, like is required by the rules. While boarding my flight, the woman at the counter told me my bag had to be checked because there were too many carry-ons on the flight. I asked her that I keep my bag because I had medication in there, and she didn't listen to me at all. She just kept repeating that i have to check my bag, and then took my bag from me and gave it to the baggage crew there. I didn't want to make a huge scene because the flight is only 2 hours and I hoped i Could deal without my medication during that time, but I found it incredibly, incredibly rude and awful to not listen to a passenger."
Minus: "Austrian Air has really slipped in its food-product.. Lufthansa put out snacks (cookies etc; even small sandwiches to 'help yourself from' going from Atlanta to Frankfort which was nice). But not the case with Austrian The serving of it was fine. Restroom options are less than adequate too."

När vi frågar personalen vad som händer så säger de att väskorna skall lastas framtill i planet. DE LJUGER!! planet stänger dörrarna, vi startar och flyger. När vi landar så berättar de att bagaget inte kom med. utan väskor så åker vår grupp till hotellet. Det hemska var att besättningen ljög istället för att berätta och informera på ett bra sätt. Väskorna kördes ut och kom efter midnatt."

Sleep would be possible if there were enough room to rest one's head on the tray in front of the seat. This is impossible if the person in front of one's seat has reclined his or her seat. Thus, sleep is totally impossible on this aircraft. The sinks in the bathrooms also need to be deeper and need to drain more quickly."

Plus: "The only positive aspect about this experience was the crew on board the plane. They were pleasant and efficient."
Minus: "The true cost of this ticket was extremely poorly communicated. The baggage policy was not clear when I purchased my ticket, and I was charged an additional 30 Euros upon boarding to check a bag that met the carry-on size requirements (I had looked this up ahead of time), but because it was in addition to my purse (which fit under the seat), I was forced to pay to check it. Had I been aware that this ticket only permitted a purse-sized carry-on when purchasing the ticket, I would have selected a different ticket/carrier entirely. What was even more confusing was that I had flown on a similar ticket from London to Vienna, and didn't have any issue bringing a carry-on and a purse, so of course I was surprised when they told me I had to pay an additional 30Euro for the same two bags! When I tried to explain this to the agent, she argued with me and was very unhelpful. Overall, a very negative experience on Austrian Air. I will not be returning."

Minus: "Where to begin? During the booking process, there was no indication my travel partner and I would be flying Air Canada, and not Lufthansa. We were seated in the last row of the plane with painfully little legroom — even for two women of relatively small stature. The plane was not equipped with modern conveniences of operational wifi, music, or any other means of entertainment over the ten-hour flight. We were nearly an hour late to depart, but were unable to hear anything over the speakers regarding the cause for the delay, nor could we hear any of the flight attendants' safety instructions. What we could hear, however, was the surprisingly loud and nearly constant DINNNGGGG of the passengers' call buttons as they summoned the flight attendants. Because the flight was an overnighter, we attempted to sleep, but it was nearly impossible to do so due to the noise. I had earplugs in and could still hear the chimes, which were positioned right above our seats and made for an unpleasant experience and cranky travelers. The food was subpar as expected, but it would've been nice to be surprised with something resembling a fresh piece of fruit or vegetable. The flight crew was polite and one of the attendants took pity on us and offered a complimentary shot of whiskey, which partially alleviated the discomfort of the experience. That man is a saint and we surely hope he is better taken care of by this airline than we were. Overall a miserable experience. Will definitely rethink flying both Lufthansa and Air Canada in the future."

Checkade in golfklubbor och Finnairs personal såg till så att vi fick betala 2 gånger. Helt oackseptabelt!
Ända bättring skulle vara att kunna ge rätt gate på bordningen vid byte i Helsingfors ( var fel/ ändrat) både gånger 😉😊 (kanske inget med er att göra…) Annars jätte nöjd med alla fyra flyg med Finnair, trevlig och hjälpsam personal.

Requested a gluten free meal, no crew can figure out it that meal was on board (not in system nor on paper list), so at the end no food for me. I have been dying BA for last five years and this had to be the worst BA flight I have taken, absolute chaos at the check in counter and no organization. One BA counter agent Alexa tried to help but it is just too late. I expected more from BA."

So we had to get one of the meals that was being offered. This was unfortunate and they made no other attempts to rectify the situation. Also, many TV monitors were malfunctioning, including mine which did not have clear sound. It was jumbled and not even clear enough to make out words in a movie or song on the radio channels. Relatively little communication from American whose flight it was. Scheduled departure 10 PM. Actual departure 1:30 AM I reserved a center aisle seat in a row that was completely empty a day or two before departure, hoping to get the whole row. Didn't work out. Just before we closed the doors a couple arrived at the row and took up three of the seats. Darn it. But I still got a good nights sleep. Wish there was an option to check N/A on several of the options above. I didn't speak to a crew member. I didn't eat or drink anything. I never turned on the entertainment system."

Plus: "I last traveled on British Airways in May of last year (2015) and the food was beyond dreadful. Therefore I was very pleasantly surprised that there has been a huge improvement. They were very generous with the drinks and the food was plentiful and quite a reasonable standard for airline food (they gave two full meals from San Francisco to London, whereas most airlines give one meal and one snack on that route). They actually checked us in on the earlier side, we took off very promptly and got to London early. It was nice to be on time for a change - so often I find airlines run a bit late. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. Pilot's messages were pleasant, friendly and even a bit informative."
Minus: "Web check-in ahead of time was a total disaster. I got an email telling me I could check in 36 hours early and "secure a good seat" but neither of the 2 sets of codes they provided in the email would work because it was all about Finnair but actually the flight was being run by British Airways. I spent about 30 minutes on the 'phone trying to get the appropriate sequence of numbers and letters to enter so as to check in and get a good seat - still nothing worked. This was at 5:45am - I regretted the time spent when I could have gone back to sleep. My daughter later spent a further 90 minutes trying to figure it out, only to be told finally that our only option was to get to the airport early and check n there which was what we did. It was beyond irksome. Please note, if the airline actually flying is different fro the booking airline, the locator number for check n will be DIFFERENT and needs to be provided to the customer to avoid a great deal of hassle and confusion. We gt particularly unlucky because BA computers had a glitch that day but the general point still stands."

Once on the airplane, the international flight had TVs in the ceiling in the row playing one in-flight movie (what is this 1995?). American is such a terrible airline. The old US airways, Lufthansa, and British Airways, are way better international flights every time I've flown with them. Personal entertainment at your seat for each flight (i thought this was standard on all international flights in the past like 10 years) and more food and drinks throughout the flight."

Plus: "The configuration of the seats are really awkward. Seems very interesting at a glance, but not so nice when you have to sit in it for 10 hours. The business class seats are very narrow. I'm pretty petite so it was okay for me, but I think an average or bigger than average person would have a hard time turning at all while the seat is in lie flat position. I had a window seat which gives you more privacy as long as you have the divider up between you and the passenger next to you. You are really arm length away from each other though. And! You can't have the divider down the entire time because they serve your meals by passing it over to you across your neighbor through the divider. The divider is also required to be down during taxi, take off and landing. So, I'd imagine it to be very awkward if you're sitting next to a total stranger. You also have to straddle over someone's legs if you want to get out of your seat to the bathroom if you have window seats."
