Minus: "The real reason for the negative review is a combination of the cost of this flight, loss of my baggage and poor service after the flight. I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."

Bording stuart said that my ticket is ECO LIGHT class and I don't have the right to any baggage. Worst thing of all was that the reason of my trip to Paris was my sister's graduation and half of the baggage was my formal wear and other half were presents for my sister! Your lack of transparency ruined one in lifetime special event- MY SISTER'S GRADUATION. I am very glad that you asked me for my opinion because I am using my free time to demand full refund, even tough the damage is much bigger than the cost of the ticket and it's irreplaceable."

It was incredible service and everyone was super friendly. We so appreciated them making sure we caught our connecting flight!"

There is no possible way for anyone who isn't seriously sedated to sleep or even sit for any extended period of time in what amount to slightly cushioned coffins. I literally spent an hour in the toilet trying to fall asleep because at least in there I had room to extend my legs. At least in there I could actually breathe (the ventilation system is totally inadequate for anyone sitting near the windows and results in horribly stuffy and uncomfortable air.)"

När väl ute fanns bara 1 service desk till hela planet, jag kunde åka hem och sova och skita i vouchers men de som behövde hotell lär ha väntat halva natten. Det enda som var ok var att de svarade snabbt på telefon följande morgon - men meddelade inte som man sagt den nya bokningen via sms eller mail!"

We ended up with no carry on luggages with us boarded. Only to find quite a lot of bags that are much bigger than ours were allowed to be in the cabin."
Minus: "They misplaced my oversized luggage even after I paid the overpriced $100 fee (87 euro cash only) for a 2nd checked bag. It was not defined by weight or size, but a straight fee of $100 for any kind of extra bag"

So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

The plane did get cleaned a little bit in Dar-es-salaam however I was still missing a pillow and blanket which I had to actively seek out. Seating was not very comfortable as there was a box attached to the leg of the seat in front of me, making it necessary to keep my feet at an uncomfortable angle through the long flight. I did not enjoy the food."

Minus: "Boarding was odd. Go to airport early and counters were not open, did on line check in so was able to avoid the self check in at airport. Also self check in luggage seems confusing with no ground crew to help. It didn't affect me but lots of confused passenger."
Plus: "Good flight, we got a nice snack despite it being a short flight, the staff was great."
Minus: "My screen was not working"
Plus: "We had an excellent flight! The crew of flight attendants were great! The food was delicious! The flight arrived to Budapest 30 minutes early! What more could anyone ask for? Perfect! Thank you LOT Polish Airlines!"

Minus: "The food was the worst I have had in 12 years of EU-Asia flights. They missed two connections, causing over 11 hours of delay and arrived at a different airport. We had to spend 4 hours with visa procedures and rechecking luggage in Beijing without staff assistance. Deplorable."

Plus: "I had no issues at all. Checkin was easy and friendly. I had payed for my checked bag online. Boarding was simple and LOT held the flight about 5 minutes so that some connecting passengers could make it. Service onboard was friendly and efficient."
Minus: "Honestly, everything was just fine. Security at Warsaw is a disaster and a nightmare so give yourself a good amount of time. It took 30+ minutes for me to clear and there were only 8 people ahead of me."

Minus: "LOT flight delayed 2 hours. Arrived too late for last leg home. We are out $400 and now have to buy train tickets."
Minus: "Lines for checking in and for boarding were very disorganized and people were butting in front of people who were there longer. The plane seating was too close to each other. More room is needed."
Plus: "The only good thing was that it got me from Point A to Point B and my bag wasn't lost or damaged."
Minus: "The seats are so incredibly small for a long haul flight. Two people must compete for shoulder space, as there simply isn't enough room for both to sit back completely. Constant elbow issues and a feeling of being locked into a small space. I've never been so happy to exit from a flight. Note that on the JFK-BUD-JFK route, LOT subcontracts to a low-cost Portuguese airline, so this plane isn't configured for a trans-Atlantic flight, at least not for a minimal level of comfort. Never again. Pay more for a decent seat on another carrier! And take a large bottle of water, as they're not at all generous with the water, soda, and juice. My seatmate and I were parched and couldn't wait to clear customs so as to buy a bottle of water."

Minus: "Seat cushion was thick and hard. First time I had to use a folded blanket to make a plushy seat for a 11 hours flight between LA and WAW."
Minus: "The flight was 2 hours late and the gate staff was with zero information. And then - we started to board finally and I had no seat! I had paid in advance for two seats next to each other for myself and my boyfriend and they moved me to another seat and then said to bad, complain to polish airlines! We were sitting there for 2 hours and they couldn’t come and tell us they were moving me, they just separated us and said too bad?"

Minus: "When boarding the crew wasn't inviting they were acting like they did not care at all about the people no smile no hi whatsoever. When I addressed one crew member he was not only occupied watching something in his phone but responded plain rudely to me. Its quite obvious that on the airplane the crew is working. Ukrainian airlines was offering the same trip cheaper but I decided to take LOT. Also I was surprised that I had to pay my luggage in my fly back. Next time I'll try Ukrainian airlines"
Plus: "The VEG meal (non-dairy) I was served was fresh and delicious to eat. Flight attendants pleasant, professional and service-oriented. My luggage made it to NYC/JFK without any problems."
Minus: "In-flight entertainment offered a very conventional set of movies from which to select."
Plus: "I am not sure where to start from but each lot employee I talk with had poor English and not the tinyest willing to help just to move , I had a flight back from cezh republic to JFK with a stop in Warsaw When I got to the front desk in the air port to print my ticket the Liady ( work at Sation 236 ) was very rude and anti costumer service she print me only my first fly ticket and when I ask why she " I don't know " I said ok so when u get there you know which get I go or where I will print the other ticket she say I don't know Ok and then I ask her can u check if it a room I. My flight from Warsaw to JFK in business it this moment she tell me I can switch sit and ask me to go I was shocked but this was only the bigining when I got to Warsaw I ask in the gate counter where should I go to print my ticket after I try to explain him 10 times what I mean ( he didn't speak English at all ) he told me to go pass the passport check and in gate 21 they will print it to me I fly a lot so I ask him if he sure becuse I am petty sure I will need my ticket the guy at the desk repeat imhim self so I want and waited 25-30 min in the line so the police officer in the passport check will tell me I need to go print my ticket So after the officer from the passport desk call someone he direct me to go to hate 26 and there they will print my ticket I want them and again wait for 15 min to print my ticket ( it was only me this is the sad thing I don't know what tool 15 min to print a ticket ) and it amazing how unsocial and 0 in customer service the lot polish employees I meet And this is without talking about the delay in my coming flight for 2-3 hrs ( a delay it something that happen a lot yes but the way they handled it again 0 in costumer service )"

Minus: "Cheap airline that is priced like a major airline. They charge for checked in luggage on flights between different EU countries. Major airlines don't do that, so check the fine print before purchasing."

Minus: "There is less leg room than on other international carriers. I am tall and found it quite uncomfortable. I was also surprised by how bad the food was - worst airline food I have ever had on both trips. Sadly, also the most unfriendly air crew as well. Also, unlike international flights with Air Canada, you have to pay for alcohol (though the prices are pretty good)."

Minus: "Flight was delayed 40 min; after landing the plane was sitting on the field forever; during descent, my ears started aching, and I think I got some kind of vestibular system damage, possibly from an overly fast descent. Not good."

Minus: "Both planes were late taking off. My wife and I both checked our backpacks, her's made it, mine did not. If my bag comes in they will not deliver it unless someone is there to sign for it. That doesn't work well as we are on vacation and have plans/appointments to be out all day. I'm not sure if I'll ever see my bag again. Avoid this airline if possible. Also boarding is odd as you have to take a bus to the plane, which is slow, extremely crowded, and inefficient."

Minus: "At check in there was a technical issue regarding a charge that required a manager to resolve. Unfortunately, the airline was so understaffed that it took an hour before a manager was available to help out. Meanwhile, we were sent from place to place to wait for the manager. He solved the problem in one minute."
